Fortnite Creative/EUFN has transformed ordinary players into true world builders and money-makers. Thanks to it, thousands of people have been able to unleash their imaginations, build unique maps, and bring to life ideas that previously only existed in their heads. But there's a barrier that hinders this creativity: the island memory limit.
This limit isn't just a technical number. It represents the ceiling of our creativity. How many times have we seen incredible projects being scaled back, simplified, or even canceled because they simply "didn't fit" on the island? This discourages creators, limits collaboration, and ultimately reduces what the community can offer to players themselves.
A growing community – Today, we're not just talking about casual creators. There are entire teams dedicated to developing professional experiences in Fortnite Creative. Racing games, horror maps, full-fledged RPGs, social hubs… The community is ready to give more, but always hits the same obstacle.
Quality vs. Limits – To achieve visual standards and gameplay that rival studio titles, we need more space. The more limited it is, the more creators have to "cut corners," sacrificing detail, interactivity, and innovation.
Value for all – More complete islands don't just benefit creators. Players receive more immersive experiences, and Epic itself benefits from a community motivated to produce content that keeps Fortnite alive and relevant in the gaming world.
Technology already allows it – Epic is at the forefront with Unreal Engine and UEFN. If we have powerful tools at our fingertips, why leave them tied to limits that no longer support the community's potential?
The request is simple: increasing (or relaxing) the memory limit on islands isn't just a wish—it's a natural step to keep up with the evolution of the creative community.
Fortnite has always been about pushing boundaries. It's time to allow creators to push one more.
