yeah 1000 memory for 1 device is annoying

But yeah

#

It basically broke ur game

Should be moved to 3k or something atleast

In my opinion no Device should instantly use up 10k or more Memory unless it’s really complex and high on resources like a hypothetical Boss device.

Like bus

#

I only needed 1 or 2

#

15k for 1 bus is just a crime

Infinite memory wouldnt work. Maps have the memory limit for a few reasons. 1. Maps are stored on epic cloud systems. Too much memory per map means the cloud will fill up insanly fast. 2. It keeps performance optimized for each device. 3. It prevents people waiting hours to download maps to be able to play them.

-While I dont agree that it should be removed enitrely, I think we shouldnt be forced into optimising our maps for old gen consoles and mobile devices. There is a time and a place to leave them behind and focus on current/new gen and that time was a long time ago, therefore, a memory increase is needed. I think 400-500k should be optimal. You should be able to choose if you want your island to support old gen consoles in the settings which adjusts your memory. That change is likley to be irriversable once its toggled too.

I disagree due to the importance of memory.... That being said, some of these devices cost WAY too much and I know they can't be that complex! Every vehicle is a great example! And the patchwork devices.
