#Separate Content Drawers for all Fortnite Gamemodes

A general concern I tend to have as a Creator is finding ways to easily distinguish between what modes items are from, how certain items behave differently (like the normal Impulse Grenade vs. the Ballistic Impulse Grenade), or that certain versions of items may never find their way in Creative at all due to having differences only in sounds, visual effects, or other gameplay differences that don't make the item "worthy" of inclusion.

My solution to this problem would be to add a Content Drawer (like the ones for collaborations) for every distinct gamemode Fortnite currently offers (OG, Ballistic, etc.), in which the only prefabs, items, weapons, vehicles, etc. that appear in the content drawer are the ones used solely in the respective gamemodes.

Having a separate content drawer for each mode is much more effective than a tag system, as it filters which items you're looking for by mode a lot more reliably, it allows items that share models / sounds / effects to exist with the modifications made for their original mode in the Creative inventory, and minimizes confusion.

I understand not every item or weapon is meant to be added to Creative, but I'm sure many creators could make use of a more organized Creative inventory that provides tools based on the experiences they want to make.

the content drawer would be the special tag system

honestly the tags work for main BR items, the problem for me is when we try to pile in OG and Ballistic content that's more suited for different experiences

#

because yeah those modes ARE fortnite, but they don't fall into the basic fortnite gameplay

I want them to make content drawers for the other shooter game modes like OG and ballistic, that way it's less difficult for them to add items that would normally be duplicates with only different stats or visual effects

a free it would be a good idea because it would allow fortnite to add those “duplicate” items without creating confusion. if they did it this way, we would be able to get items like the og tac smg and semi auto sniper which otherwise wouldn’t have been added because they already share icons and models with the existing versions of the weapons already in creative, despite their unique stats. plus for the versions that DO have different models, it would basically be a creative inventory for chapter 1 weapons and the other is for the post-chapter 2 weapons.

#

it could also allow them to add OTHER variant weapons like the spy games variants of weapons like the thermal suppressed sniper rifle, knockback deagle, the insanely fast semi auto sniper, compact bandage bazooka, or the alternate rarity rechargeable consumables

# golden robin it could also allow them to add OTHER variant weapons like the spy games variant...

I wonder if they'd add a content drawer for LTMs with unique content. Honestly, I doubt it considering those were much more tied to the standard BR (same map, same gameplay just with lootpool changes or unique twist on the average BR match).

If this idea ever came to fruition, my biggest want for it would be a Save the World content drawer with all of its weaponry, traps, and items (but that would take 20 years to make)

Spy Games did have a lot of unique weapons that never returned

If I remember right, did the Dual Suppressed Pistols come from Spy Games?
