i really feel like that sometimes we get mistakenly warned and i'm starting to wonder if there is some ai moderation going on

nah seriously, fix it, check what is happening to some of the members, they don't want to risk to talk anymore since the moderation with this bot is pretty much terrible

I do things that aren't against rules (and if they are I'm not being told beforehand) and I get kicked for it

Someone spammed N word audio all over the general chat and he isn't getting banned or kicked

So many audio messages spammed, and all of them is the same sound

Those messages have been deleted, we reported them
But still, this happen and this bot kick people who did nothing bad

Just got kicked for posting (not spamming, posting specifically) a gif.
When I sent it 3 other users had already sent a gif 😭

They are still up btw (except for one)

What must we do to get a mod to see this? This is a massive issue.
The low amount of punishment towards people ACTUALLY breaking the rules and a lot of punishment towards people who aren't, is going to make the community taper severely. It feels like they want us to fade away from the server.

Either remove the concierge bot or fix it A LOT.

What they want is for people to not engage with others when they think they are being toxic and just report the behavior

they look at it as a risk for more arguments as well as a "two wrongs don't make a right" kind of thing

a lot of the people in the server aren't really in a good position to be arguing like that with someone about "being nice" and it's a public callout, which can beget more conflict

and not that you were reported, and I clearly think the moderation needs to improve, but the first thing you gotta do for your own sanity is not worry about how punished other people get

worry about yourself and if you are following the rules or should be warned, at that point it doesn't matter what other people say and do and what happens to them

take that advice for what it's worth to you, of course

but it's something I've had to do to stay sane in this server for years, and to an extent I get why

there are also ways of phrasing things when addressing that kind of issue while still maintaining professionalism and not making it a "callout" if that makes sense

Added all of your feedback into a doc to review the process with the team! It could be many factors. We have a lot of rules across many servers, could be a mix-up. We also have a new bot to help catch things before a person does, but regardless of the disconnect -- we're investigating!

As I touch on in this message, people send gifs all the time but I get kicked for doing it a couple of times.

I am starting to feel somebody might be reporting me at this point, there's no rule on gifs but I think a report or two could mix up the bot a bit...

Send an example of what you said to me and I can look into it! We are seeing the bot flagging things it shouldn't but we're working on it! It's gonna be a lot to untangle.

Added these to my sheet / investigation

We were able to tackle one issue so far.... but most of them we're unsure of what's the start of it. Assuming it is our new bot that came out a few months ago.

Worst case, we may need to tighten up rules for a bit to save people the heartache and follow the FN server.

But i'm trying to get it setup so we can be more flexible here!

I wish i could help but it's very confusing, no one knows why some are being targeted after getting a few warns. I noticed me, Hero and few other people are now directly kicked after even posting a gif in general sometimes and as i said the big issue is we get generic reasons and don't know which message(s) is/are problematic

Especially Hero, Concierge loves him
