They are only doing big updates on the first release of the season now, the .00 updates. That's something that they announced 2-3 seasons ago.

The most you can probably expect from mid-season updates now are bug fixes, a few weapons, and maybe a previously incompatible BR feature

We also seem to be getting small amounts of content (around half of a .00 update) mid season which is nice too. I think we had 2 of those this season with the c6 galleries along with balistic and og weapons
