Fortnite creative has had many devices and big changes, but we still need some smaller more useful changes like the following. Hearts

  • Upgrade bench🛠️
  • A sliding speed option and sliding momentum option🛝
  • Crafting/Sidegrading Mechanic 🔨
  • Overshield gained on elimination 💙
  • Overshield option on Health powerup 💙
  • Make it so the input trigger device has an option where it only works if you actually do the action, like if I crouch it activates it rather than the keybind itself. 🙏
  • 64x grid snap. 😁
  • 20x flight speed 🪽
  • Air Royale Storm boom
  • Player Size (1x-2x)
  • For island settings like “gold granted (etc)” let us have a slider to pick more specific numbers. 🎚️
  • Let us have mutator zone priority like prop manipulators. 📤
  • Add an option to raise the in-game player building height or just generally raise it. 📝
  • Raise the height limit during gameplay in Creative 1.0. ⬆️

That Input Trigger one has bothered me since it was added. Why let us use inputs that are tied to actions, but not let us use actual action inputs.

Sometimes it’s fine just having it as the input button, but other times it makes your mechanic work very inconsistently. Like if you have it for when you shoot a weapon, you have to hope someone doesn’t swap their weapon before releasing the trigger (if it’s a bow or something), otherwise whatever effect is meant to happen with that weapon will instead happen with a different weapon. Another thing is that if you have something happen when you jump, well if you crouch the jump button instead makes you stand up, and if you’re next to a wall or something you may mantle or hurdle instead of jumping, but even when these things happen it still counts as you jumping since you can only use the jump key, but not the action jump action for triggering things. We really need an action option on the Input Trigger.

Oh I know about that, but thanks anyway. I’ve actually used that in a new map I’m working on to add cooldowns to some items. Like I have it detect when you release the fire button, and then it removes the item in your hand and gives it back after a set time. Surprisingly it doesn’t actually break when you swap item before releasing the fire button, but I think that’s because I added a short delay before the item is removed. I had to do that though because otherwise the item would be deleted before it’s even thrown. I’m not sure what I would need the Switch for with it though.
