I just tried to release a boxfight game and it includes the Boxer and Boxy skins in the thumbnail, and my game got rejected because the promotional image -
1.13 Keep It Authentic - When promoting your island inside Fortnite, the assets (such as thumbnail images, lobby backgrounds, or videos) you use to represent your Fortnite island must accurately represent what players will experience in your island; you must not mislead players as to the sort of experience they will have. You may not incorporate photographs. You may not mention V-Bucks, currency, or rewards. You must not incorporate elements that mislead players with regards to XP gains, in-game items, or Quests. Where Fortnite already provides a visual element to indicate a feature to the players (e.g. the ability to earn XP in your island, or the selection border of a game tile), you must not imitate or supplement it.
This seems EXTREMELY strange and unfair because there are SO MANY SKINS SHOWN IN OTHER THUMBNAILS (examples in images below). Not only do I need to completely redesign the thumbnail, but I need to make a new version code because of it! Just because I added skins to the thumbnail like everyone else!
Literally every single one of these pictures are directly from Discover. DISCOVER! How come I get my map rejected for including skins when all sorts of other maps include it, and even get in Discover (some even in Epic's Picks)?
EDIT - I have changed the thumbnail after I made this post without the skins, and I can't bring back the original thumbnail and post it here. I made a post in the #1086035097783910492 channel (#1189310847131066449 ) with the new thumbnail, just imagine it with the Item Shop Assets for Boxer on the left and Boxy on the right.
