So... I was placing my own custom trees around with the foliage tool, until I realized that there's literally no way of making them destructible?
Why is that? Why can't we add a building prop blueprint onto the foliage component class so any foliage placed can be destroyed...
I know for a fact you guys don't just place each tree by hand on the BR Map... but we have to suffer over here in UEFN 😭 cause if we want custom trees + destruction, we have to place each tree by hand, and it gets EVEN MORE complicated if you place them as HISM because you have to drag each tree individually from their spawn point, place it where you want on the level, rotate/scale etc, extremely time consuming when you have 100+ trees

It's because they don't allow actor foliage assets apart of base UE, idk if they will add them in a future update, but if they do allow actor foliage assets, you could add a Prop BP to them and paint them like static meshes.
