I just checked with my co-mods and the rules of the King of the Hill season event as unfortunately at the moment I don't have RR available in my state. According to the KOTH rules you should get the seasonal rewards if you participated at least in one match during the season. My co-mod confirmed for RR that this still counts when you transfer states. Unfortunately the description is not mentioning this detail.
