Anyone that sortoff understand how the combat mechanic work when defending? I assume its a part of the defending troops that fight, and rest that doesnt fight gets just added to the losses. The amount of troops that fight depends on size of the march size of the attackers. This is my assumption. Is this correct ?

Thing is recently ive gotten alot troops, much much more then i ever have needed. I use them quite activly in ress raid but still havent managed to zero myself.

So my questions are, does my troop count matter when beeing attacked?
Does it affect my ress raid score ending up with giving my team more difficult opponents?

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this and don’t have the ease to submit from either place you wish to. 😔 Unfortunately, all we have is either in game Customer Support or they do have a support email but that has been slower to get a response from. (I’m not even sure how the email is responded to as I haven’t sent one to them myself.) I recommend, although not the favorite route, you still put in a ticket in game and submit it here as well. Maybe a Mod from the bug team can assist more with this once you have a ticket number and submitted here.

When you don't have enough people to defend buildings, it's best not to control too many buildings. Because when you fail to defend them, you'll lose some of that water to enemy. If you're low on people, focus on a couple of buildings that give more water per minute and after the 36min mark go for the tanks. Around the end of the battle, try to capture enemy buildings to steal the water they've collected so far.
