I don't know lasted meric update make this unit became worse, they just follow melee and range unit , and ignore to follow eco and magic unit. That make no sense.
If you prefer to play general ctrl play style, you knew it.

One thing I've noticed that these goddamn dumbasses try to follow other units into garrison when they themselves are not garrisoned
Me watching my merics pile up on the garrison wall cuz I garrisoned the starting archer

meric does have some weird behavior though
like if you garrison but send merics to attack so they heal while retreating they will just go straight to enemy's castle wall
