I'm not completely well versed in the technical side of this game but I can tell that there are issues with GLA, bow spam and Spearos. Gls can one man army his way to an opponent's statue while being ignored by enemies and wreaking havoc on light units economy and dealing heavy statue damage before he can be taken out. He is way way way too useful of a card for how cheap he is to make how fast he trains and how fast he retrains. A direct Nerf to his stats does not seem like the answer more than a buff to AI Target in or a Nerf to his cost and retrain speed. As of right now he trains and retrains just as fast as any other general Even when he is also training with Kai. He is also one population less than an actual giant instead of every other general's normal three times the population of their corresponding unit. Bow spam has been an issue in the game since the beginning of the stick war series and probably will not be dealt with. It is just too satisfying to mass archers and melt units. Bow spam seems to be relatively easily countered by higher level players with versatile decks and micro. Spearos right now is a hard counter to GLS but that is because of his overpowered slow, likely his slow effect needs to be toned down especially right out the gate. At the moment units can be brought to nearly a grinding halt when combining spearos with snow squall and lvl 2 temple ice archers while enemies get melted by ranged units. Does not seem to be too much of an issue with high-level players but all of these are issues with mid-level to low players which could negatively affect player retention. Discuss.

I’m honestly fine with this fixes as long as it doesn’t hurt Kai too bad as I don’t think Kai rider can take another damage nerf because of GLS, but everything else I agree with
Yeah Kai Rider does not need any stat nerfs but probably just a slight cost adjustment and timing changed. He's powerful but he's already balanced by the fact that he doesn't get the charge attack and he's practically dead as soon as sightless goes down

But some time people will leave Kai alive just so he can’t retrain back as Kai rider which is annoying
Important to note that only sword and archer general are 3x pop of unit. Spear is less than 2x and mage is only +2 (none are literally less pop though)
He 100% do like they said he can make anything move slower than a snail and Giants take like 30 seconds to just attack once
The only reason spearos could be called op has to do with slows themselves, it isnt intrinsict to spearos alone
personally i feel like the last nerf was enough for spearos to not be too powerful anymore
Hes not too powetful vs all decks is all, still brutalized many melee comps
spearos is well balanced maybe even a little underpowered

i think that spearos is only a good pick rn because he's a decent anti gls card
but before gls spearos was the exact same but he was very weak

Well user controlled units have just been buffed and there is no mention of the ai targeting being fixed. Looks like they are just making the game more micro centric and at the same time less newer/lower level user friendly. I think I'm officially done. Time for another year long hiatus. Maybe they'll have it figured out by then
