chaos/ heavy
area denial siege unit.
640 hp, 8 (+2l), 48 dps (6 projectiles per second), dead speed, Sieged Egiant range. can hit air units.
1200 G, 52 second training time, 15 population cost.

abilities:
aim: set an area within vision to fire at. the further the target the longer it takes for projectiles to travel. losing vision will make the repressor stop firing, arrows travel in a high arc that cant hit units not within the aiming circle. aim's range varies from pin point (close range) to magikill fumigate diameter (max range) 10 second CD.
siege up: allow the repressor to begin firing. when in siege mode the repressor can not move. 5 second CD

gimmick: area denial role. requires heavy support from allied units. expensive, risky, not all that effective.

balance explanation: stalling and stuff for real late game units. a single repressor can shut down half the map and reach the statues damage cap from the moment it starts firing.
Its a unit meant for TIMING ATTACKS, benefiting a lot from forge and is a valuable sniping target.

They also have insane range

#

I don't understand aim but I'm guessing you just click on an area and sht goes wild

#

Anyways this is literally just long range magikill

knotty violet
#

this is intended as a win condition or stalling in a different sense

#

while magikill stuns and stalls units with minions

#

repressors stall by making the oponent think about taking damage or pushing later when they have an army that wont care for the dmg like mass speartons

72 DPS

#

But gets 37.5% of its DPS negated by spears

#

I just saw the aim ability

#

I can't tell which one is worse to deal with, an egiant or whatever the hell this is

#

It would've been counterable if it wasn't for being able to straight up mass-target the backline

knotty violet
#

10 seconds to re aim

#

aim has 10 second cooldown

#

arrows take time to fly

flint cradle
#

Temple.

knotty violet
#

oh fair

#

then again just play better

#

😎

flint cradle
#

90 DPS that's completely targeted at the backline.

#

with only one of them

knotty violet
#

oh well i mean SWS doesnt have good , proper, complex army controll

#

so hmm

#

maybe an actual issue

flint cradle
#

2-3 is 180-270 targeted DPS

knotty violet
#

i mean this isnt that practical because the further the enemy is the more dispursed the DPS is you just need to run past

flint cradle
knotty violet
#

well volley is burst

#

ok

#

actualy its in an area

#

so its not as good

flint cradle
knotty violet
#

oh

#

well putting it that way

flint cradle
#

If the opponent doesn't fully get their DPS away, it's gone

knotty violet
#

hmm i like what its like now though

#

like

#

i want to make a uni

#

thats super timing attack heavy

#

and also versitle

#

ill decrease dps to the original 48

#

i was considering 48 bc i thought it would be too op at 9 projhectiles a second

flint cradle
knotty violet
#

Egiants can work as proper late game units though

#

this with 15 pop cost

#

is not that

knotty violet
flint cradle
knotty violet
#

wow

#

ok so good value

flint cradle
knotty violet
#

jesus

#

ok i think

#

i need to get back into sws

flint cradle
knotty violet
#

maybe i judged it wrong

flint cradle
#

3.2, which is still much more than other ranged DPS

#

Still better than pre-nerf tdeads against heavy

#

Btw, for reference, pre-nerf tdeads against heavy is ~2.2413 DPS per pop

knotty violet
#

ok uping the build cost ig

#

i mean the build time cost

#

52 seconds

#

i mean i hope its also an oportunity cost

#

and the best use case is to be rushed out

#

the risky part i said in the end of the post

#

oh in the middle

flint cradle
#

Can this shoot past the fog of war?

#

Without requiring UC?

knotty violet
#

it can only fire in an area witth vission

frail pagoda
#

Illuminate gonna be op now

flint cradle
#

Egiants do the same thing in terms of firing range
