The spell "Scorch" should be rebalanced. It's often too spammy and can create an unfair advantage if using the Summoning Staff. Here are my ideas on how it can be rebalanced.

    • Make it a consistent spell instead of the multiplier being used currently. It will have the same recharge as all the other spells and only have 10 comets when used. (Can be any amount)
    • If the first suggestion is implemented, this will fix the balancing with the Summoning Staff. Currently, if you use Scorch, and at least have 1 stack, you can repeatedly use the Summoning Staff making a large army of Deads without any cost. If the change is made, the Summoning Staff will be balanced and work like when other spells are used.
    • Also, if the first suggestion is implemented, this would fix the spammy nature of the spell. Just like with the Summoning Staff, as long as you have 1 stack, you can repeatedly use Scorch and spam it.

If they implemented some of these suggestions, the spell can be fair and balanced, while still being devastating if used strategically.

Scorch is a unique spell because it costs a whooping 200 mana to cast and has a short cooldown.

It is your fault if you allowed your opponent to stack up for example 2000 mana (equivalent to 4000 gold), and even then they can only cast the spell 10 times, producing 10 or 20 deads with summoning staff level 2.

I don't think it's OP. It's really unique and should not be nerfed or reduced to become similar to other spells.

It should have a set comet falling pattern for each charge

Giants have a massive hitbox. You can easily apply a burn successfully with a 2 stack Scorch. Most of your comets won't land, but after all, each comet does 13 damage per hit.

In terms of a giant vs giant + 1 battle, assuming all giants have a clear shot and no UC, there would need to be at least 21 vs 22 giants for the RNG to favor the 21 giants by 10% to win.

but this is just terrible
