Both players contribute to a shared meter during the match through things like damage, kills, captures, successful defends, repelling the opponents, healing, etc.
When full, the team, or a main player, can activate a powerful effect.

Possible effects:
Statue health regen
Center tower reset
Enemy upgrade disruption
Wall health refill
Temporary enemy debuff
Temp pause enchantments/spells
Etc.
The point is to encourage teamwork.
