Both players contribute to a shared meter during the match through things like damage, kills, captures, successful defends, repelling the opponents, healing, etc.

When full, the team, or a main player, can activate a powerful effect.

These are just suggestions, not set or final.

Possible effects:
Statue health regen
Center tower reset
Enemy upgrade disruption
Wall health refill
Temporary enemy debuff
Temp pause enchantments/spells
Etc.

The point is to encourage teamwork.

Simple. Strategic. Fair.

Being able to pause enchants and spells along with reseting enemy upgrades is absolutely unfair.
Have you ever thought of the already winning players not even give the players on the losing side a chance because they just straight deleted temple after they recently got it?
enemy debuff is also fcked in every way

Legit no one cares who you are. We downvoted this post since you want to make 2v2 even more annoying to play. If you teammate sucks at garrisoning units, you will have to suffer not only with your teammate having less units, but the enemy getting this "team ability bar" filled up faster, which will result in you losing even more. This also hurts more defensive plays in 2v2. No longer can 1 player be the offensive player, and stall while the other provides minimal support while making a massive army, since that defensive player won't be helping fill up that "team ability bar."

This also encourages overcommitment just to get some kills faster

Ironically, it also encourages passive play

People will either overcommit in hopes of getting some kills and lose or turtle up and have their units survive much more than the enemy units and win through that

Not only will this not solve the problem of idiot teammates, it will also make 2v2 even more unbalanced than it already is and possibly even bring in more idiot teammates

i like the concept of an ability bar filling up as you deal more dmg ect like the soul meter in soul calibur but that completly changes how the game itself is played.

  • sharing resources is already problematic, dont need another resource that my teammate can just blow
  • all of the concepts for the effects are busted
  • it will always favor certain playstyles/comps more than others
  • honestly seems more like a #1046599856736706630 or at least something that should be hashed out more thouroughly first. there is a path this could go that would change ⬇️ to ⬆️
