I have some theories revolving around why Atreyos left the Order empire at the end of SWS/3
Theory 1. Atreyos thought that he wouldn’t be accepted back after disappearing for years. This is the least likely one
Theory 2. Zilaros actually had something to do with Adicai’s death. This actually could be true because after defeating the Lunarclops Zilaros appears and is happy to see Atreyos but Atreyos is angry at him for some reason that we don’t know.
Keep in mind these are just Theories

No. 1 isn't unlikely; if he was percieved as giving up his position of leadership and throwing away all his responsibilities then it makes sense he will not be accepted back. Moreover, if the speartons begin to think similarly like Spearos—that is, Atreyos didn't believe in the way of the spear, didn't go to school, and just got the position like this—then they would also not want to accept him even if he came back, as he's not fit to rule in their eyes.

You know what is funny out of all the Royal siblings Xiphos has the most bs win mainly because he was given the strength of gods by Mera because Xiphos was Iris favorite child Thera was born with Magic Kytchu,Shade, and Icaron were either born with the skills to make it to the top or just took the leadership meanwhile Adicai and Atreyos had to train to get to the top or were given it by Zarek
