Payload

  • In this game mode, the Center Tower is replaced by a Neutral minecart. You can also call it also a version of gold rush, as gold and crystal mines surround the center as you spawn with more miners.
  • All Gold and Crystals accumulated within the center also get transferred into the Mine Cart. When at max accumulated resources, the mine cart can be contested upon.
  • After 7 seconds of staying with the minecart, you claim it. Attacking the minecart reduces the current resources it holds by 50, but slows it down. (the minecart requires units constantly around it to move. Or else it becomes neutral and retreats to the center.)
  • The Minecart will move at Giant speed until it reaches its dominator's base, in which it will directly transfer the resources it holds towards them. (The dominator is decided via whoever has more units contesting the cart.)
  • After which, the Minecart turns neutral and rushes back to the center.
  • In this gamemode, sudden death is moved to 20 minutes.
  • The Minecart can hold 10,000 Gold and 5,000 crystals at the same time, Max.

Siege Rush

  • The center tower is replaced by a siege machine. Those who conquer it (10 seconds) causes the siege machine to slowly traverse to the enemy's base. At stage III and more, it can send every 5/3 units trained directly on the siege machine.
  • When the siege machine reaches the enemy base, it will start to ram their statue, dealing 500 Damage to it every 20 seconds.

Legacy

  • All spells, mythics, enchantments and generals have been removed. You can only use pure unit cards for your deck. There is no fog of war, and there is no center tower. Sudden Death does not exist, instead; at the 10th minute mark, Both players will gain resource gifts and Deathmatch mechanics.

True Legacy

  • Every Player starts with OMiner, Swordwrath, Archidon, Spearton, Magikill, and CGiants. Their costs are reverted to their legacy costs. Same mechanics from Legacy is transferred to this variant.
  • Yes, SWS controls are still normal. (Like individual controlling and etc)

P.S for siege Rush:

  • Siege machines move at Giant Speeds aswell
  • At the 10th minute mark, the siege machine takes 5 seconds to conquer instead and can gradually increase their speed up to juggerknight speed.

Statue Troubles

  • Goofy mode.
  • Every 5 minutes, statues suddenly shift positions, but not your armies. However, a constant timer is present to show you when the statues will shift.
  • There is no sudden death or center tower, every 2 statue shifts, the interval of the next statue shift decreases by 30 seconds and moves the statues closer to eachother.

Natural Disasters

  • Lightning Strikes, Snow Squalls, Scorches, Acid Rains and Earthquakes can suddenly occur throughout the match.
  • It is random, but only affects the center.
  • Before the natural disaster occurs (every 1:30s), you are given a warning 30 seconds beforehand, and then at the 15 second mark.
  • Sudden Death moved to 15 minutes.
    Lightning
  • 2 Lightning clouds spawn at the center. They last for an entire 12 seconds and will move towards the center again if they get near your base.
    Snow Squall
  • A total of 6 Snow Squalls spawn in the center. 2 spawning every 3 seconds moving towards your base.
    Scorches
  • 6 Scorches immediately spawn across the center, and after 2 seconds of the first swarm of Scorches finish, another 6 spawns.
    Acid Rain
  • Self explanatory.
    Earthquake
  • Cracks form on the ground across the center, disabling center towers and slowing down all units by 15%.

7 seconds? I think payload is too agro focused. I think the minecart could be more tug of war focused, like the minecart can insta kill statues if it reaches that point but you need to constantly contest it to move it forward or back

Siege rush is what I just described but better thought out lol

All in all I don't like payload, it's way too tempo / agro focused but I do like siege rush as it's gives a defenders bonus to the defensive team.

I think seige rush should actually be the alternative to tower in the base game, as it should be easier for the defenders to yk defend

Might nerf the rewards and speed of the minecart

Make it so that the minecart moves VERY slowly when entering the enemy's base (and even make it retreat if being contested by both sides at the same time instead of just stopping)

Rewards definitely but my issue still is giving the defenders advantage to the attackers? I think the minecart should require constantly being contested, like permanently have units on the minecart
