Bored.

[Toxophilites Tag]

  • Immunity to status effects.

Twinblades
Nimble, and deadly. Trained from the most flexible of the tribe, Twinblades pay for their lack of defense through great mobility.

Cost: 100g, 25c
Pop: 2
Build: 11s

HP: 90
SPD: Swordwrath
DMG: 4 / 7H
Aspd: 0.5s

Passive:
Disengage

  • (Passive): If out of combat for more than 5s, Twinblades gain a 20% speed boost.
  • (Active): Whenever the Twinblade nears low health (around 10-20), They will automatically slash forward and stun a single enemy for 0.5s, before activating their passive again, allowing them to move faster regardless if they're in combat or not for the next 5 seconds.

Ability:
Initiate - 20s CD (Auto-Cast)

  • The Twinblades dashes instantly at the nearest enemy in a slightly small range. Immediately landing 2 basic attacks onot them. The dash takes 0.3s to finish and gives IFrames.
#

Scavengers
Retired Hunters. They use what's left of their instincts to search out precious minerals or resources for the tribe.

Cost: 250g
Pop: 4
Build: 15s

HP: 120
SPD: Miner (25% Faster)
DMG: 0
Aspd: 0

Passive:
Frail Facade

  • The Scavenger looks weak.. enemies will target other units (except miners) over the scavengers. If there are no other units, they can begin targetting scavengers.

Ability:
Scavenge - 13s CD

  • The Scavenger can dig out a hole and retrieve 200 Gold in an instant. Retrieves 100 crystals if on the center tower. Takes 2s to dig out something. Can only hold one pile of gold/crystals at once.
  • If the scavenger is near a corpse of an enemy, they can gather 50% of their resources. This is reduced to 30% for allied units.
#

Hunter
Silent and precise. They focus on concealing themselves from enemies to land a sneaky hit, avoiding long-term battles.

Cost: 750g
Pop: 5
Build: 20s

HP: 190
SPD: Archidon
DMG: 15 / 25L
Aspd: 2s
Range: 1.1x Archidon

Passive:
One with the Environment

  • If the hunter stands still for more than 5s, they become concealed/transparent. Enemy AI cannot detect their positions, but they can still be hit by attacks, ultimately revealing them.
  • Enemies that pass by the hunters will cause the hunter to flicker for 1.5s, before being revealed.

Mf got bored and decided to create 3 seperate units with unique gimmicks ☠️

#

Anyways review time

#

Twinblade pop being 3 sounds good

#

Actually nevermind twinblades kinda suck ass like shadows 🥀

#

They need 2 pop instead to make up for it, compared to the other units they deal the least amount of dps

# hot oxide Hunter *Silent and precise. They focus on concealing themselves from enemies to ...

One thing I wanted for the hunter was something called
"Reverse Boyers", an ability.
Concept 1

  • Reverse Boyers would be placed like a boyers trap on a designated location, and will prevent the hunter from moving at an area around the reverse Boyers.
  • If the hunter recieves damage/becomes critically hurt or by manual, the hunter will snap back to the boyers's last position

Concept 2

  • The Hunter will snap back to the garrison when nearing fatal health. Has a very long cooldown, or can instead cost gold to activate.
  • Can be activated manually

Uh oh

#

Yeah no this is diabolically good

#

This is basically a better shadowwrath

#

It’s weird actually

#

Garbage against spears compared to other units but op against any other tank

#

Plus why so many damn passives units arent meant to be this complex

#

Basically what I’d do is they flexible right?

#

So they wind up a attack quickly to validate a slower attack but more damage

#

6/7 heavy

#

One attack speed

#

Wait no hang on

#

7/9 bc of that

zinc bluff
#

i'll interupt and then come back later

lusty garden
#

That passive is epic I’d keep it but back shots are a big no bc they could instantly destroy any army then and would be a must

#

Also they should be exposed if they are touched by another unit

#

Also for toxics again, passive is op they are literally invincible, and fixate makes them just a shadow copy

zinc bluff
#

not a direct copy pasta since shadowrath don't have invisibility in SW3

lusty garden
#

All like shadows

zinc bluff
#

there are like 5 units in the whole post

#

i just wasn't keeping up

Oof immunity to status effects? Those are pretty core to early game and specific builds that are basically designed into the game (dead spam, surge spell combos, voltaic and adjacent spells)

#

Twink blades need scaling rather than burst dmg with that low ahh hp pool which makes them fall off late game which gives it a unique place in game but passively dodging attacks is sort of cracked

#

Also it takes shadowraths fixate albeit changes it a little

#

I think without that 2nd ability it's good

Top ten worst misspells

Who says it's a mispell

Im simply relating it back to what I'm familiar with

(Mods are gonna find bros home address for this)

#

Low burst dmg but great at avoiding projectiles

hot oxide
#

I'll probably make them reveal with a delay when touched by an enemy unit

hot oxide
#

Also fixate was intentional they're basically weaker versions of shadowraths

lusty garden
#

Yeah that’s bad

#

Don’t just make weaker versions it’s bad

hot oxide
#

Hmm

#

Okay I'll think of something

#

@lusty garden check it out now

#

I replaced twinblade's passive

#

And removed hunter's bonus damage on the back

lusty garden
#

Initiate could just do ten damage 14 is pretty high for a dash

#

Besides that twin blades are pretty cool now

Twinblades are an interesting unit
A swordwrath equivalent that's more of a berserker type unit
Scavenger is interesting
It's an economy unit equivalent of smithy
Might be good I don't know
Haven't been in the balancing scene for a while
Hunters are really interesting
Their attack speed is horrible though

#

But considering that they are decently tanky and have 25 dmh against light...
They're ok I think
