the cost aside, i dont think it's too much. i'm not sure 100% sure whether the cost should stay the same or be reduced, or by how much. reducing crystal cost and increasing the gold cost colud be considered. i just feel like 400 crystal is too much and it doesn't sit right with me?
The problem with the change is the cooldown buffs
Especially the summon
The changed summon is only 2 seconds slower than current temple 2 summon
Even more of a problem since you also made temple cheaper
Also I think the second magikill minions should be moved to a different upgrade
Instead of being on temple 2
It encourages magikill spam even more since only magikill spam can freely afford t2 while other decks that utilize magikill will suffer from it

Also if vault change gets added as is in 10 mins SD meta I'll straight up quit the game. And probably even if it's not 10 mins SD meta too cuz 500 max is p-ss.
yeah, your'e thinking correctly for game balance, i thought about this too. But I'm sure CJ prioritizes keeping the game internally consistent. i think he cares more about that than balance. since summoning minion is a magic, ot should be considered normal for it to be in the temple. i assume balance will adjusted based on this consistency.

if you fully read what i wrote about vault, you'd see that since is a rework idea, i already mentioned that these numbers could change depending on how new vault work. but i am suprised you find vault a bit weak. you'll gain extra bag for every 8 bags, which means a 12,5% resource bonus. i thought that was good.
with bastion 1, you also get gold equal to 15% of your total gold every 20 sec and there's no 2000 gold requirement.
plus, you have to consider things like the reduced cost of bastion upgrades and the CA Buff as well
dang i dont like this at all, it feels like its writen from the perspective of spearcher mains who havent played against a variety of different decks due to their elo making it only possible vs certain "meta" decks. I'ma have to actually grab my computer for this one though as there is so much not good in this. It is templated very, nicely though.
meanwhile because spearcher main there is zero rebalancing to the strongest comp in the game rn
It's what I talked about before with the "CJ should get 2.4k" stuff. If only spearcher kytchu can get there, anyone who actually gets 2.4k is just gonna be insanely biased toward spearcher kytchu specifically.
tbh you don't need to get 2.4k to see any of this. 2.4k is such a slim margin of time and the sheer time sink to get to that level of play wouldnt be good.
Your rework is the average "remove vault and replace it with something completely different that only caters to rush/midgame decks" suggestion. End of story.
I'm making a response doc, its worse than that though tbf the doc itself is more of a collection of email balance suggestions from top players more so than a legitimate "how to fix the game"
If CJ actually implements the vault stuff from this doc Imma just let this game be Jon's balance playground and leave it to go play minesweeper instead.
Bro already had a perfect kytchu meta where it's kytchu mirrors in GM all day.
I just dont think he really delved into the Data enough and based it more on feel which has its merits.

Both game pace and vault scaling needs to be slower for vault's power curve to actually have a chance at making sense.
that would at least make the window more easily achievable

Vault being op at lategame would makes sense if ppl has 10-15 mins at least to try to stop it from happening.
Also the ppl who want a vault that exclusively caters to early/midgame decks should just suggest a new enchantment that does that.
some of the hard part atm is that there are lots of suggestions that are given but some of them are checks to each other and its easy to forget about seemingly fringe cases.
