finishers take up animation time and will make both units invincible
imagine chasing an enemy with a UC spearton, they then got away because your spearton did a kill anim on an enemy's archidon
also imagine backline snipers like atreyos being completely invincible just because of this

Short kill animations could work
For example
Spearton stabs the head of the killed unit
Sword stabs the killed unit with the sword and it goes all the way through
Magikill disintegrating animation not being implemented is so criminal too
Their death animation looks cool
Jug will chop the head quickly and throw the body away
Crawler will pounce on the unit and bite at the neck
Deads will bite the unit at the jugular
When bomber kills a unit with it's explosion
It disintegrates the killed units
Hell fist grabs the killed unit as it returns to the ground
Etc etc
fun fact: in stick war 1 the Swordwrath displayed in the intro gets disintegrated by a magikill

Having kill animations and making them purchasable by gems would be a good chance for monetization
Maybe some people would buy them instead of just grinding them
Each kill animation costs like 200 gems I say
And there's a kill animation bundle that's priced at 10 dollars
It has all kill animations in it and 500 gems to do whatever you want with em
make it accessible to lootboxes with 5$ as a cost
Kill anims pose such an issue
Kill anims require the final hit be a special animation but the issue is sw3 is much faster than sw2 and units often body block one another mid attack
If a unit cant move while in kill anim (which the shouldnt) they would be unable to follow orders and you would lose your army to all your units doing glory kills
If you really want see and experience kill anims then they must be given some sort of invulnerability but of course that makes invinceable units that can take infinate damage for a fraction of a second
If kill anim units cant be targeted that would just make your army much slower as they would need to wait for each enemy unit to finish kill anim before advancing
They aren’t an issue, because they’re all short
