Lost elo in private battle

No screenies but I lost elo when I 1v1ed my cousin and I lost , also happened to one of my friends so it seems pretty common

Read somewhere here that, when u verse someone privately in a series of matches, the first match affects elo. Every match after that doesn't change elo to avoid farming or smt.

Well, I mean that was the point of making private matches not affect elo. But think the 1st match still does, idk if this is true tho.
