One thing I noticed is that it would lag-spike when I made a new move.
For example, I'm attacking, I use my bubble shield, it lags. Next time I use it, there is no lag.
I would do any new move, such as retreat, it would lag, but it would not lag the next time.
Sounds strange, but that's what I noticed.
It's like the game has to create/load the animation, and then it can use it without the lag later.
If there's a way to check, I'll check.

β’ I had attacked, and the plan was to use bubble shield, but it froze, and then the opponent took out the majority of my archers.
β’ The entire time I was rapidly tapping shield to activate, and it finally did.
β’ I watched the replay but the lag was not noticeable at all, but you can see when it happens if you look for it.
β’ It also happened at their base.
