What are my eyes seeing
Someone who's tired of giant spammers
No,if you don't want them to spam giants don't let them,just rush so they're forced to garrison their miners then go back after a few seconds do the same and repeat so they can't have a large army while you do
Giants can be easily killed by deads and/or archidons,or honestly any cheap unit that can be spammed + archidons with glacial arrows
Giants can knock you back while archidons eat away at health
Even more with blazing bolts
The guy I fought had a huge army of archidons and thera and healing spells to keep em alive
And giants spammed
Why would you even want monstrosity to be nerfed, that's literally the only thing making giants usable like their supposed to
1450 health dude ......
Magikill and giant spammers wouldn't be everywhere
And the unit would still have a health increase
1250
But that much of a nerf is too much
It should at minimum give giants 10% hp each level
And it's also very expensive
No it's not for a unit that does 60 damage to heavy and 35 base that's reasonable
In total you need 900g/900m more to get max level giant which only gives them 45% more HP at over twice the cost it takes to get a giant with no upgrades
1250 is too low for a giant walking tank,at least make it 1300
1250 is fine is supposed to be a small boost not make the giant your main army force
But they're supposed to protect your main force and with only 250 more HP i don't think it's going to be good at that
That's why you have units to protect it
But I said it's supposed to protect the main force how is it going to protect the main force if the main force is protecting them
You mixed it up
While your defending at your base yes the giant is a frontline unit
Yes it protects the army
But midfield theres gonna be a lot of units attacking/trying to attack it and beacuse of it's slow attack speed the main army takes over
The slow movement and attack speed is one of the reasons it doesn't need this nerf as much as you think
I'm talking about when it's spammed and theres no other unit
Or when there archidons but your army can't kill them because the crapton of giants in the way
And how the ai target system works
And the fact if magikill are around by the time your units recover from the giants stun you end up getting stunned again from fulminate
But what did you expect when you have to pay almost twice the amount of money for upgrades for the unit than the actual unit,at the price the upgrade has the HP is probably too low
Giants are supposed to be late game unit and this upgrade makes late to end game units
Without this upgrade giants would have been useless

Since giants don't cost any mana and you can just upgrade miners mining rate and use the spell gold rush
That practically making it a early game unit if you have no other units
In your deck
The earliest you can get giants is mid game and by mid ni upgrade giant are weak as hell
You can also use archidons with other units it's and the other units it's that the enemy has are giants so you can send out swords,sickles, spear,deads,use the power of staff and they will either have to sacrifice their entire army and half the statue HP or the money that they have been saving up giants
You forget vault enchantment exists and salv smithy
And on top of that with archers being 300 gold that's easy gold farming
When they kill units
So what's to say the enemy donet put a small squad of archers at the tower
To keep you from reclaiming it
While also get the gold and mana bonus
Just use archidons simple
Giants are easy to counter, unless you let them build their army peacefully
I won a match using deads and giants only because he let me build 8 miners and 2 lines of deads(he also let me get the giant upgrade to level 2 before I got my first giant,how nice of him)
I wasn't gonna let him build his army but he was spamming archidons so I couldn't get close to the giants
Archidon spam is another thing
+blazing bolts
And thera constantly healing them and the healing ward
On top her own ability
Problem is, giants are only useful when spammed with monstrosity
I think the main problem are the giants
Giant have high cost, slow attack speed and slow training, to ez to be outnumber by all other unit. I can see your comment about opponent using archidon spam, so that is the bigger problem than giant with Monstrosity, not giant itself

But it's four chaos unit's and 2 enchants and 1 upgrade
