I've been getting this weird lighting glitch on apex legends which turns everything in this blue-ish light source. its kinda painful/uncomfortable for my eyes and I've tried many things to fix it. Apparently it has something to do with the Intel GPU/drivers. But at the same time people have reported to fix this issue but nothing helped me out. Does anyone know what I can do?

Hello friend, after the last update of the intel Ark drivers to the latest version, I stopped running APEX in principle.

#

Although before updating the drivers to the latest version, Apex was running, but the defects were as shown in your photo.

yeah i also couldn't even run the game for a while, it just closed automatically when I got in the lobby but to fix that i just deleted and reinstalled the game. but i dont know man people tell me to downgrade my drivers but i dont know how safe that is to do 😭

Yes, it's certainly very strange. Of course, you can reset the drivers to the previous version. If you want the game to work somehow, it's better to reset the game to the previous version of the driver, then it will work.

is it safe to downgrade the drivers?

Yes, it is absolutely safe. You download the previous version, delete it through a special software, this is the driver, and install previous versions of Intel Ark.

did deleting the game and reinstalling work? or did you have to downgrade your driver?

After today's driver update 32.0.101.8801 I got a similar issue with Resident Evil 4 Remake. Other games seem okay. Kinda reluctant to rollback. Anyone got a workaround?

mann, i got the same issue on re4

The best way is to roll back to the previous version of the driver and maybe all the problems will disappear.

Fixed it! There's this file in the game folder: shader.cache2, just delete it and relaunch the game.

I had to roll back to the previous driver and apex finally loaded my shaders and didn’t crash. Still having the weird lighting issue does anyone know what driver I can use that doesn’t have that issue?

same apex issue i think i tried everything except driver rollback but i did not find a compatible arc driver that is older also i wanna ask how often do the drivers come out?
