Dear Intel Graphics Team,
I am writing to report a significant performance anomaly regarding the Intel Arc B580 in The Crew Motorfest.
My System Specifications:
GPU: Intel Arc B580 (Discrete, ReSize BAR Enabled, Integrated Graphics Disabled)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
RAM: 48GB
OS: Windows 11
Driver Version: [32.0.101.8626]
Issue Description:
While the Arc B580 performs exceptionally well in other AAA titles—for instance, running Forza Horizon 5 (DX12) stably at 2K/60FPS—it struggles significantly in The Crew Motorfest.
Key Observations:
Low FPS Ceiling: Under Vulkan API, the game only reaches 30-40 FPS at 2K resolution.
Resolution Scaling Failure: Lowering the resolution to 1080P or even reducing graphics settings to "Low" does not improve the frame rate; it remains stuck in the 40fps.
Driver History: Previously, the card would crash/error out upon launching this title. Although recent driver updates fixed the crashes, the optimization remains unacceptably poor.
Analysis:
This behavior indicates a severe API overhead or driver-level bottleneck specifically with Vulkan in this engine. The hardware raw power (comparable to an RTX 4060) is clearly not being utilized.
Request:
I urge the engineering teams to investigate the Vulkan pipeline optimization for the Battlemage architecture in The Crew Motorfest. As a consumer who chose Intel for its promised potential, I expect a performance level consistent with the card's demonstrated capabilities in other modern APIs.
Looking forward to a technical response or a driver optimization.

hi
this is just community support here so i think youre better off emailing intel themselves
To be honest I think this is a bottleneck by the CPU... I could be wrong though, my answer doesn't replace a professional's, don't rush to buy a new CPU.
but forza horizon 5 60fps
This is acting more like a CPU bottleneck than a GPU bottleneck in my opinion here. This is because I have owned a Ryzen 7 5700 non-G and I also had terrible problems with CPU bound games. This is due to the Cezzane Arch being designed for APUs in laptops but also being ported to CPUs. They tend to have way worse performance in games. You could also have a problem with ur 48gb of ram. DDR4 never supported 24gb dimms. So you have to be running 2x16gb 2x8gb to reach the 48gb which could introduce more problems in ur build.
I would first try removing the extra 16gb of ram. Its practically pointless and if anything could be causing more harm than good. 2nd I would check to see if your gpu is not running at full utilization. If it is not then its very likely a CPU bound case. I have seen it myself before on GTA V Enhanced with an RX 9060 XT 16gb. I had to set everything to the highest possible settings with ray tracing set to the maximum in 1080p just to be GPU bound in that game.
My CPU utilization is 20%, GPU usage is 90%.
Interesting. I wouldn’t know exactly honestly but could still be a ram bottleneck or even a cache bottleneck. Since games love using cache once it runs out then it starts going into ram.
