Been moving parts around between home server and my gaming rig and am trying to get my A750 Limited Edition to work in a z690 with an i9-12700k. The VGA light comes on when i put it in the pcie 5.0 x16 slot on the top. I'll give an overview of the specs
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z690 Edge Wifi
CPU: Intel i9-12700k
GPU: Intel A750 Limited Edition 8GB
RAM: 32GB DDR5 (2x 16gb in slots 2 and 4)
NVME: Samsung 970 EVO 2TB (currently in slot m2_4)
PSU: Thermaltake 750W
PSU has a single 8-pin to the motherboard along with the 24pin. GPU has both the 8 and 6 pin from the PSU plugged in. NVME was moved to m2_4 to get them as far away from the GPU lanes as possible...
Running latest BIOS for the board, graphics boot device is PEG with multi monitor disabled. I had resizable bar enabled and i even attempted to force gen3 on the pcie_e1 to see if it would help with handshaking.
PC boots fine when the card is in the x4 slot below it. PC boots fine with a Vega 56 card in the x16 slot.
When the a750 is put in the x16 slot i get white VgA light on mobo with no video.
It looked like there was a known issue
but i installed this driver/utility when in x4 slot and checked the Intel Graphics Utility for the vbios version but it doesn't show the vbios version, all other details about the card are there .
