Hey ho Intel Devs. i hope someone actually looks at this and could investigate this issue. Currently the Wayland Compositor is messed up on Linux Kernels newer than 6.12. Its running at half the speed than supposed to. this is reported here https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/xe/kernel/-/issues/4363

i am hoping someone can take a look at this as it makes using Battlemage cards god awful atm... and im afraid this will go unnoticed for a really long time...

"suffering" from the same bug, if anyone has a workaround or fix feel free to share. 🙂

seems so, tried it with fedora 42 and its still there on 6.14, endeavourOS has the kernel-lts package with 6.12, that works

with some help we managed to find a workaround

#

add " xe.enable_dsb=0 " to the boot params

oh, lemme try that

#

That seemed to work! Thanks for sharing the workaround, hopefully the fix won't take long

doesn't hurt for you to try if you want the devs attention
