Hi, I have an Intel Arc A750 connected to an LG 24MR400-B monitor using an HDMI 2.1 cable. FreeSync is enabled in the monitor’s OSD menu, but neither Windows nor Intel Arc Control recognize it as compatible with Adaptive Sync or VRR.

I have tried the following without success:

Verified that FreeSync is enabled in the monitor’s menu.
Used a certified HDMI 2.1 cable.
Tried enabling VRR in Windows, but the option does not appear.
Checked Intel Arc Control, but it does not show the Adaptive Sync option.
Adjusted the refresh rate in Windows, but FreeSync is still not detected.
My questions:

Is FreeSync over HDMI 1.4 supported on LG monitors with Intel Arc?
Is there a specific setting in Intel Arc drivers to enable FreeSync?
Is DisplayPort required in this case?

oh man.. HDMI Freesync is AMD-only if im not mistaken.

As far as I know, and in theory it should be like this, Intel GPUs have Adaptive Sync, which is basically freesync and should be compatible.
