Hello everyone,

i've been using my b580 for a few days now had little issues so far, but i just noticed this issue where were textures in ZZZ are popping in when moving through areas. It's really bad in Sixth Street and Lumina Square.
Maybe some one has an idea what's causing this or has the same Issue. On my old set up with an Rx5700xt it worked fine. I already googled a little bit and found a video of ZZZ with the B580+R5 5600 and saw similar behavior (did not find anything else). Other Hoyoverse games like Honkai Star Rail seem fine (no popping of objects). I also tested a more demanding game (Dying Light 2) with no issues.
Hard to tell if it the game or the driver. Maybe some one has some more insight on this.

I tried the usual fixing steps, like repairing the game files and updating drivers.

BTW: Performance is great otherwise 100-120 fps in the demanding areas.

My current set up:
Core Ultra 5 245K
Asrock Z890 Pro RS (most recent bios)
32 GB DDR-5 6000 CL30 (XMP on)
Asrock B580 Challenger (re-Bar on)
Lexar NM790 SSD

Completely new build. So fresh windows etc.

@worthy pumice Yeah, I have iGPU UHD 770, and I experience the same object popping. Stumbled on your post by accident. It was like that right from the launch of the game, but I was not sure if this is iGPU "optimization" or driver issue.

Hey, thanks for your answer. In your case i would say that this is expected. This should be a rendering tactic to improve performance in weak GPU's with litten VRAM, like your iGPU. In my case i think the mistakes my GPU for an iGPU and then renders the game in this "Eco-mode". Hard to tell If this is driver or game related. I Made an post in the forum like the person before recommend and I started an support ticket with hoyoverse to get to the root of this.

there's no "eco" in here

#

anyways, i'm running a b580 on my desktop, with all possible power saving things disabled, and i also have this issue

#

it doesnt occur on other GPUs

#

its a problem with LOD rendering
