YO i've been affected by the new bios update which causes pc crashing, I want to set my cpu voltage up a bit could anybody guide me? Asus Rog board and a i7 12700K processor, trying to keep things safe but stable thanks
I heard to use offset cpu voltage with +0.10 but i'm not sure if thats true
Moving things in here
realized support has to go here
forgot to read rules before
anyway
I'm trying to downgrade bios again but I can't, asus gives a ZIP file and you need to UNZIP but clicking "extract here" results in
Alder Lake isn’t affected. Just load default settings and you should be fine.
I did but it hasn't helped
I'm pretty sure if I never updated BIOS there would never have been problems but it auto updated bios
I want to change my cpu settings I hope someone could help me
I changed the cpu voltage to offset +0.10 and it looks like it runs without trouble and no crashes, was this a good idea?
but the cpu is getting a little toasty
I will check the cooler is seated properly
besides the temps is everything looking ok?
CPU is getting toasty, check your cooler?
It was not screwed on properly.. It still hits 80c im not sure its properly attached
But overall the test looked fine right?
80c is fine, 94c was toasty
thanks for the help
