use cpu-z for knowing the cl number of your laptop's ram that you using right now
after knew, you can check out rams from internet
buy the cheapest and suitable with other ram that inside of laptop, they dont matter so much in same performance range
their numbers should be same for work
if you buy a ram that have lower mhz your computer's performance can be decreased because system will decrease frequency of the ram that have higher mhz for proper work so in summary buy a ram with same numbers especially frequency and CL
or in otherwise they wont work properly
if your laptop dont have any ram, 2400mhz with cl17 is a good idea
so like the ram timing doesnt matter to much for performance?
for laptops no
Why is that
Because you can’t really do anything about tuning
right.
I was just hoping to get lower cl to get better performance but thanks for the info. I didn’t know it didnt make a difference
It’s usually jedec that it runs off of
Usually not much you can do
