What kind of RAM do you have? Have you tried disabling XMP?
Otherwise, you need to return this CPU under warranty. You will get a new one, as long as you bought it before the last BIOS update. I received a new one myself, but the 13600K shouldn’t actually be affected. Mine works perfectly. I can even overclock the 13600K manually, and it runs very stably. Maybe you were just unlucky.
So what issue are you having? Are games crashing, not loading? Or are you just going off what a utility is reporting without having any problems?
crashing and not loading any games
so i can play some games but after like 15 mins it crashes without any warning or nothing
just closes and someitmes i cant even load a game without it crashing
What are your system specs?
processor intel i5 13600K, gpu geforce RTX3060 32GB RAM m.2 SSD
anyything else u need to knowww
oh my motherboard is a rogstrix B760-F gaming wifi one
in myy bios no its set to none atm
The temps are pretty good, i have a hot spot of around 70 max, usual is about 60-63 for my cpu, but most the time whenever i boot up most games, my GPU is at a usuage of around 30-80 percent but my cpu is going to like 100 and idk if thatd the issue
And my psu is Corsair RMe Series 850 Watt Compact Fully Modular PCIE 5.0 80+ Gold PSU/Power Supply ATX3.0
The CPU goes up to 100 percent? A 13600k? Something must be wrong. I have tested numerous games and have never gone above 70 percent utilization with a 13600k. If I were you, I would reset Windows and reinstall the motherboard drivers and graphics card.
Which game did you play?
used to be able to play cod no problem but litrally most games just crash now
its like my pc is bottle necking but it shouldnt be
tried factory settings re updating bios to old versioin then updaating it again reset windows
even got windows boot on a new m.2 ssd specifaccly for windows boot
If you've already reset Windows and updated to the latest BIOS, then you might have a faulty CPU. It could be that your CPU is already oxidized, and you received a defective CPU from production. I would recommend updating to the latest BIOS and then returning your CPU under warranty.
might have too
There are some faulty CPUs on the market that can start to oxidize after three months. I recommend returning it.
Which RAM do you have? How many MT/s or MHz?
third from right
Or the second from the left and the fourth from the left.
so one of em is 1st on the right and the second one is second from left too
so both left hand side
so first one is DIMMA1
this is fault
so if i put em in the right slots would it stop bottlenecking?
okay okay ima do that rq then
dimmb2 and dimmA2
Okay okay ima do that rq
Let me know if it worked.
Nope
Okay, because you had the RAM in the wrong slot, it's possible that your Windows is corrupted.
Try resetting your Windows again now.
this has to looks like this
And then simply do a clean reinstall of Windows using a USB stick.
Everything on your drive where Windows was installed needs to be deleted.
And your M.2 SSD should not be installed under the CPU, otherwise it will slow down the graphics card.
Instead, use the lower two M.2 slots. The upper slot shares bandwidth with the graphics card and slows it down.
So i have another issue aswell with my ram
I cant move em cus my cooler
Is blocking movement
Dw cleaning the fans too
You did that quickly. Just disassemble the cooler.
Just the fans.
And you only need to unscrew one fan.
And were you able to put it together, or did someone else do it for you?
somsone else did it for me i got all the parts got someone who builds pcs to check the specs and then he built if for me cus of his job aha
You can do it yourself now. It's not difficult to insert the RAM in a different slot and just loosen the coolers.
cpu 100% and games crashing
sounds like an virus scanner messing everything up(doubles loading times)
if not, check whats all starting and running, watch "task manager"/"resource monitor" to figure out who is the bad actor
