I had this same issue with my Msi katana

#

I still have the laptop

#

If you’ve manually set your display adapter to your dedicated gpu via bios you’ll get a black screen

#

The best thing to do now is a full reset

How?

With msi it has a safe mode where you can just hold down the power button for almost a minute and it will factory reset everything

#

@spice steeple what brand is your laptop

Asus rog strix g16

#

Ok

First solution is to try to hold the power button done

#

Down

#

For a while

#

Have you physically tried to upgrade, change bios settings, or done any of the sort?
