Hi! I'd love to see how valuable items are (especially small objects) - maybe as numbers shown underneath each item/furniture. I'm not sure if value is represented by stars right now, but I'd still love a value count to get specifics since you often need a certain amount of value to get more stars.
(Sorry if this has already been requested)
I absolutely love the game! Thank you for your hard work!

You can also see how much a design impacts on the decoration values of your tavern by turning on the Decoration Atmosphere Overlay by pressing the the magnifying glass on the top right of the UI

Hi Patty - the price affecting value makes sense, it's just a bit vague for me rn with the stars combined. Sometimes objects have a big deco effect, sometimes not, even with many stars (maybe bc they were free when placing them for the first time? I'll look inot that xd).
I already use the overlay but thanks for the tip!

There's a couple of confounding factors here, I think.

#

First, some items start off with star ratings but not with a proportional decor bonus, like braziers. So they can end up with less decor than a decor item with an equal star rating.

#

Second, decor always radiates from the center of the item.

#

So if you make a really fancy four person table, the decor impact isn't gonna be huge, since most of the decor goes to the inside of the table.

#

Third, I'm pretty sure that decor increases past the point of a five star item rating. Something with 50 gold of decor is gonna have the same star rating as something with 100 gold of decor but the item with 100 gold of added value will improve decor more.
