Whenever i open pro gymnast, its just this tiny sliver. When clicked, the game closes.

have you tried setting a custom windowed resolution in steam's launch options to see if you can get the game to at least display in a proper window?
you could also have a look to see if a log file generates in C:\Users\YOURUSERHERE\AppData\LocalLow\Walaber\ProGymnast assuming you're on Windows. Although I probably won't be able to parse anything from that. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable could help you out.

okay i tried setting a custom resolution and doing alt + enter for fullscreen and this is what i got...
on my screen it was flashing brown and i couldnt see that little window in the centre
skip to about 10seconds
that little window also looks likethe menu of the game

Ive uninstalled thee game compltely and uninstalled steam, it still doesnt work
ive tried every troubleshoot so im not sure what else to do

hmmm, this is super strange. you are playing on Windows, right? as Autumn mentioned, can you grab a recent log from the game and post it here so I can see if anything jumps out as an obvious hint?

hmmm, nothing in the logs that indicates any kind of special error.
one thing you can try is to specify a width and height for the game via command-line arguments.
based on what you said above, I think perhaps you've already tried this?
