I accidentally just figured out how to replicate this bug. I'd be willing to DM it to you, but I figured I would leave out the details so no one is tempted to try it.

somehow, someone managed to do it again after the fix on Mt Rushmore Light

I believe I've accidentally did this last night. My game is saying I'm Rank 1 on Mt Rushmore Light, thought it was a visual glitch on my end but seeing this thread I believe it might not be.

Any idea what caused it for you? It was once done by switching through the tracks super fast when selecting but that should have been fixed.

no idea, i was just grinding down my Learning garage Light time and exited out to the menu by mistake and saw i was Rank 1 for some reason

annoying i was recording the session but i messed up my obs settings and only recorded a black screen. So unless we can figure it out on audio alone no idea

maybe it has soemthing to do with challenging ghosts as i was doing that, my only guess. was mainly reporting this so the time could get deleted, this seemed like the best place to mention it.

it definitely seems there is another way this bug is reproduced. There is also another bugged ghost on Seattle light

what's interesting is that it seems to always be learning garage ghosts, no other tracks, where as the method that i discovered that you fixed worked with any track.
Not sure if it is a coincidence
