it seems like the game has trouble loading when its opened for the first time after turning my computer on. in this clip the game gets really laggy and ends up with a visual bug once it finishes loading. the screen also turned black when i entered a level.

wow, that's certainly strange. so far the only clue is that it happens when you run the game right after starting up your computer?

it's super weird. in the clip, the flipbook transition has never technically finished, which is why the world looks blurry like that. I'll have to take a look and try to think in what scenario that could possibly happen

not even right after starting it up really itd been like 30 minutes

but it was the first time running it since startup

Just double checking, like physical spinning disk hard drive?

Because I think that might be the factor there

I ran it off a mechanical hdd back in February and June yet never had this issue

maybe sometimes some slight lag but never that much
