The reason Warframes can't gain energy while they have channeled abilities going is because of Limbo

And Warframe powers still worked

So you would whip out Exalted Blade or Hysteria and get chopping

that actually took them a while to fix but they nerfed all sources of energy regen rather than change how they approached Limbo

So over time he became the utter clown he is today

limbo is just strange tbh. like the ability to make others not interact with the game is a very very strange design choice from the get go

tbh there's a lot of frames from an older design period that I absolutely love but still wish they retouch
