I had a wildly different set of interactions with him having rejected the deal multiple times and relentlessly running through the 21 dives for the sake of getting the new frame and the resources points.

Once I had rejected the deal twice our conversations became academic about his past, questioning each other's world view, talking about the present. After so long he offered the deal by way of saying he would no longer offer it, I got one more inquiry about the situation and he went radio silent for several days with 'best friends' status.

His status flipped over to Anathema on the latest hot fix, both of these likely due to the dives. I mostly ignored his complaining during the last few dives, as his waking self didn't seem to be responding in more than blurbs about what had been uncovered. I chalked it up to an in-the-moment fear that was being released upon waking from the interaction.
