It seems like it's actually very hard to screw up and lock yourself out of relationships so you can mostly play naturally however suits your Drifter's personality. At the 'close' level it will eventually pretty much force you into a point where you can choose to [confess feelings]. I saw on the maps there is a status for 'NoDate' but Idk how you get to that.

The 'consent' conversations do feel awkward and out of order. I get that it's easier to code this way, but it would have been nice if there were some way to go ask your current partner first.
