If you beat him 21 times as well you'll get the Exorcist honoria

If you don't get the VM's one per battle, then wait till the daily reset, you'll get them after that point

if that setting isn't on, it will skip to the next rank whenever they're available, rather than when you run out of convos in the current rank
outside of that, the convos are usually given in a somwhat random order within the rank
