I'm honestly surprised that this event isn't as well received as it should. It's a great echt with tons of new puzzle pieces that all hold massive lore implications. + I honestly think it's just a fun event to play through. The boss fights are cool, the Duviri environment is interesting albeit a bit small, it's a great set up for the dangers we are about to face, and the music makes it feel fresh despite being the same gameplay we've been doing for a while. + It's a very rewarding gamemode.

I think the problem is that a lot of players just treat it like another mission. They turn off the main music to just blast their own music and just breeze through everything without paying attention to what's happening around them.

But also that people were probably setting their expectations too high when they saw the teaser.

People having wrong expectations has been a recurring problem lately. (Lotus eaters prime example) It's also why I think people need to calm down with the hype around Tau in Tennocon. We might not get Tau and then everyone will be disappointed or angry when we end up not getting any Tau

Personally as a theorizer who can make some wild theories at times, I don't mind being proven wrong. I have been a fan of this game long enough to know that DE always does something entirely different than what everyone is expecting. I kinda just enjoy theorizing and even within wrong theories there will often be some truth. Or they end up sparking interesting discussions when everyone is way too focused on one thing.

Like theories are fun but you should always treat them as just that... Theories... And never set your expectations according to them. Especially with Warframe where something either takes a really wild turn or ends up being exactly what you're told it's gonna be.

The problem is a lot thinking these theories are true and their source is them lol.
