Actually they’re just both speedsters. Gauss is themed around it more and has synergy but ultimately they have the same amount of abilities dedicated to it (one passive and one active).
Redline boosts it but it’s a general ability boost

The theming had already been acknowledged. Practically, Gauss has one passive and one ability related to speed/movement, along with 3 abilities that support it but ultimately aren’t about that, even if they’re closely related.

I’m not saying you’re wrong about Gauss having a more solid speedster identity and theme, it’s just not purely an ability/mechanical thing that puts him above Volt like you stated

Yep, that's what I was referring to earlier, basically they're like Void Plumes from the Zariman and Voca from the Entrati Labs, you can trade Hex Treasures for Standing with Lettie. Just keep in mind you'll need one of each to rank up the syndicate at some point.
