With the arrival of the new “expansion”, I wonder when I will be able to play with the Operator in Duviri or in 1999. Considering that Major Neci Rusalka will now be in the “imaginary world” and created by the Drifter, I think it makes no sense to ban the Operator from accessing, especially considering that Kaya managed to get out of 1999 with the portals (as I read in the chat messages). I really look forward to playing with the Operator; with him I have a history of years in the game. The drifter is nothing more than a stranger who came to my door and entered without permission. The point is that Duviri doesn’t change. It’s an artificial world built from a children’s educational storybook. The people are pretty much stuck to how their characters were without sufficient outside intervention, and the Drifter was worn down until they became apathetic and accepted their “place” in Duviri’s cycle.

The quest introduces Duviri but the main focus story-wise is the Drifter and their growth. The next quest and event Isleweaver goes back to Duviri, and we’ll probably see some change then though.
