A lot of it is trial and error, not sure if guides have improved since I looked them up but due to them being mostly "hey this gear is good, use it and it will all be easy", they just suck from my experience, since you don't know how to actually fight it.

My advice is: speedrun the tank phase, use latron to armor strip (you can do so as it's rolling in immune) and then Lex in incarnoff mode one shots the vents, so you can get to the RPG phases pretty fast. Make sure to shoot both of the guys on the first storm fall for 2 RPGs, so you don't have to wait for the second group to fall down after shooting the vents a second time, so you can immediately (or as fast as you can at least, efervon can get in the way) just grab the 2nd RPG and finish it. If you don't have latron, there's a melee I forgot the name of that armor strips I've seen people use, but Lex is a must.

For the tentacle phase, make sure to ALWAYS focus the red towers as soon as they appear, they WILL kill you immediately if you don't, no counterplay via dodging, and watch out for the small critters after he charges, if one of them hits you, you will be stunlocked and die. I personally Magistar stomp for this phase but Lex in incarnon mode works fine too since it fully pierces the boss and therefore easily pops the cysts (although I'm not quite sure how to sustain incarnon mode in the first part before the eximus start spawning)

I just like that if you die you aren't immediately out (in non solo queues) I recommend doing it in not solo. The real mode I hate in EDA is The assassination. Also Trails you needed 8 people to actually do it for reasons.
