I'm kinda underwhelmed by the fact that it feels like an albrecht's lab or zariman again, with more emphasis on story

and on some level, I do feel that their messaging in interview, has been contradictory to what we're actually getting. Namely in that I feel like it has been sold as a "new era for warframe" and like, I guess you could either interpret it as the beginning of a new era, in which things will get more "weird" and crazy or just that the new era starts with 1999

but for a "new era of warframe" things do feel an awful bit sammy, but also.......a lot of people are disappointed with the endgame aspect and it's like, I personally feel that previous warframe updates, have really only been one way or the other.

The New War was this massive story quest, but it's endgame contribution was minimal

Zariman introduced a good number of new systems but it's story was......meh

1999, they're trying to deliver on both, and while I'm not sure how it'll work out, I can appreciate/understand the complexity of such a situation

but I do wonder if the outcome is that no one will be happy in the end. We're getting a NEW story quest that isn't new war sized, but roughly 2-3 hours long, which at least to me, is obviously shorter than New War, but also longer than say whisper in the wall

we're getting endgame content, but judging by the toxic posts I read last night, the gameplay centered players don't seem thrilled either so

There's no reason it would use conclave loadouts. You don't actually fight other players, and you can do all AI without any players at all. You just get conclave standing as part of the rewards.

The best way to think of it, is that this new game mode is not a conclave game mode - it's a game mode that just so happens to give credit towards ranking up the conclave, as a byproduct.

In New War and Lotus Eaters, Lotus interacts with the Man in the Wall, but tries to lie to the Operator about it until that fails. So, it seems like she had her own dealings with him

In Duviri, the Lotus hand lets Drifter do Transference, and even use Operator powers in the Undercroft. Transference is a void thingy, which as a Sentient Lotus shouldn't be able to use; this could be what the Man in the Wall gave her. This is the dumb guess part:

I think she made a deal to control your Warframe in the Second Dream, to save the Operator from Stalker. Because, your Warframe mysteriously activated to save you even though you couldn't be the one controlling it.

And after your Warframe does this, Lotus shows up.

This would also explain what she meant by having to fight a war within; you're both void-poisoned. Also, if this theoretical deal empowered Wally somehow, that might be why Rell's will fails at the same time!

Warframe's don't need the operator to activate. Before the Old War they were an experiment by the Orokin,and before the Ten-Zero incident they had no real way of controlling them, to the point where they straight up murdered Orokin. The Warframe's are still conscious,but the Tenno suppresses their pain,both emotionally and physically.

Tenno Typer is a really cool tool but also to get the best results you gotta provide phonetic inputs because it really butchered the last line ("Don't ever erase us" became "Dawnt ever ehrzh us"). Here's the fixed version. I had to photoshop the "oh" sound to get "Don't" correct.

It’s probably not node names; Vodyanoi and Rusalka are two types of Slavic water spirit, with Vodyanoi being male and Rusalka being female. The characters names likely draw from this mythological connection directly rather than through node names.

Sedna’s nodes, meanwhile, are also all named after mythological water creatures, which is why both names appear there as well.

The Rusalka is also known in Russian as the Vodyanikha, which is literally just the feminine form of Vodyanoi:

Amps are super powerful, even without mods, so I don't think they'll do that unless they have a bunch of amp-only mods
