anyway, circling back to this, now that I've gone outside for a bit or whatever...

Whispers in the Wall at least delivered a lot more on that feeling of there being an actual continuation of the post-TNW story & setting up Wally to actually be the next major villain (instead of... the extremely vague hints of that here & there in Duviri), on top of that: the music / vibe / etc. all truly matched how serious of a development that was supposed to be (instead of... something which IMO couldn't be taken as seriously, the Duviri which felt at times like a flop)

In hindsight, it helps me to realize that Duviri / Angels of the Zariman / etc. was all meant to be part of the opening chapter(s) in the Wally arc, & -- like pretty much all other content, some of which at times truly feels abandoned -- ideally there's no reasons it can't be revisited in the future & added to / improved upon / etc.

So for whichever future quest finishes the Wally arc, much like The New War did with Ballas -- which, despite some flaws it had (as let's face it, nothing's ever truly perfect) still pretty much my favorite part of the entire game's story & has yet to be topped -- there is nonetheless a necessary build-up that has to happen beforehand

I agree there. Zariman to Whispers especially. These 2 are my favourite quest lines so far, in large part to the music, scenery, the overall vibe to them. Whispers has my favourite story so far - feeling a lot more personal than anything previous - just barely above WW and the Sacrifice for me, but still topping them.

Jade Shadows was good - definitely closer to Whispers in terms of presentation - but totally disconnected from the overall narrative - and not really one that resonated with me all that much. It was well done, but just not among my favourites.

Angels as a quest was very meh, but the Zariman as a whole is fantastic and got me excited for the void arc

Duviri Paradox is the reason I almost didn't continue playing - having done it back when you could after Saya's Vigil.

The music and look of it turned me off, but when I heard you could play the real game after, I kept going and now I love Warframe.

I just need people to understand it's not a preference thing. It's not something based on taste - just that some vibes feel so wrong as to make me ill.

It's surprising that de haven't made more tech of ennemies that can be considered priority target as the longer they are alive, the worse it get. For example corpus summoning osprey.
But maybe more things like that will be done one the future as they expanded it with the triangle dude as it allow over guard on ennemies.
Maybe if they continue they could make something like : a special unit that is protected by other people with invincibility until they die (like veil) and if not destroyed in times they could summon a powerful monster idk.
Would be cool to see more things that unify in new ways the different faction, like imagine a corpus having a grimoire somehow and the same incident of tuvul make a hellish landscape.

I’ve been playing an action rpg recently and I was thinking:
I really don’t necessarily want to be romancing any of these characters. I’d much rather play the matchmaker egging them on.

Why aren’t there more matchmaking sub systems.

One thing i'm surprised about ennemies :
There's actually no ennemies that would try to hinder you by spawning some kind of specter that would give no kill + no buff from galvan/arcane
Making it like the special summoner ennemy from doom eternal that can be only countered by killing it fast, making it a high priority target.
Sure DE surely have not finished murmur ennemies (bcz i do think it fit the theme) but i think it would be very cool to have something like this

DE making also more telegraphed ennemies is also a good thing for maybe more usage of melee to defend yourself instead of attacking, making it way more cooler ngl

As it stands the chaff enemies are sort of the quick priority targets and I think you kind of have to work off that in the general scenario.

Because there are too many targets shooting at you all the time it always makes sense to clear them fast. You can’t evade/hide from their attacks like you can the big guys.

It would maybe have made more sense to leave the tough enemies vulnerable to more targeted CC so you can keep them occupied while focusing on clearing out the immediate threat and develop alternative methods to keep heavies alive longer

Murmur works better the opposite way compared to most factions mostly because you don’t have quite as much of a bulletstorm going on.

Whichever name you pick is permanent. However you can buy the other two options as skins (as well as her Eidolon form that she uses in the final act, a vampiric Naberus skin that's a spooky version of her regular outfit, and a Duviri-esque skin from the Xaku Deluxe bundle), which will affect appearance and how modulated her voice is only. Ultimately the choice is just cosmetic.

whispers in the wall is for example a very good way to introduce the arcane farming, special new objectives and/or standing/currency system.
But the strongest point is that you can farm through different missions which make the farm feels less tedious as you have multiple objectives, keeping the player "focused"

From what we could see during the Devstream there didn’t seem to be an option. And from what we’ve been told it doesn’t sound like we can. It just sounds like “yes you can use the Gemini skin on the deluxe skins” basically saying you can use whatever warframe you want (that matches with the hex) they’ll still be able to transform into their Gemini skins. It doesn’t appear that you can change the actual skin of the Gemini, like having an Arthur head for a deluxe Excalibur skin.
