Depending on the infestation’s origins and how it’s clearly out of control it makes sense it’s taking on a very primal form

Kinda wild that we still dont know what 1999’s gameplay loop will be
We know we’ll unlock liches from it and that we maybe have an open world city? I mean it seems open world but we dont know the extent

The gameplay loop actually feels like it would fit a mix between Open world + Sanctum anatomica's type of mission.
It would make much more sense that civilians weren't all rescued and that they hide from scaldra since there was logs that imply that they just kill anything in the end .
So like you do your normal mission, you get called by another hex about a secondary quest that involves civilians that haven't eaten for days, you raid a scaldra's base and then you're free to go.
But like you will always have the random dungeon randomizer to make levels,etc...

(also bcz the pizza delivery service sounds like a good joke and it also be a bike that we could buy... But a good mission... Like some infamous quest that are so weird but work ?)

The Koumei update is meant to bring a bunch of QoL changes to help new players get into the game easier, it would be ironic if they locked the quest behind one of the final main quests

Ngl, i just feel like it because of the song having a very drastic bpm change in comparison with others themes.
And like, new player would have a hard time going to the calm of poe then to koumei's very fast song lmao
