So far we don't know but signs point to mostly no with some notable exceptions.

My theory is that gen 1 Warframes (before the Zariman was recovered) were basically super soldiers but they eventually succumbed to the infestation and went bloodthirsty mad - so they were put down like rabid animals. Later the children came along and transference was used so the children would command the gen 2 frames.

This is all from The Sacrifice - but it's not clear which frames were gen 1, 2, etc - but Stalker and Jade seem likely, and of course Umbra is a special case.

So mostly no, but some surviving frames from before the Zariman was recovered may still be out there.

This could also work... it seems there's something left in there (the frames react to pain and other situations). There's a lot to work on, and I'm afraid sadly we'll never have a concrete answer. Maybe just some teaser there and there.

My interpretation was always that the original warframes during the time of the orokin were all created similar to umbra(people transformed with tech and infestation into frames). The blue prints you get from quests are just copies of those creation that you then 3d print in your ship(free of tortured people). The obvious exception being umbra. All the warframes we have are just rediscovered orokin creations rather than a new frame which would require a fresh sacrifice.

I don’t remember if the game makes this clear or not, but here’s my interpretation of Wally.

The Void gives form to strong emotions, desires, or concepts when it comes in direct contact with sentient (thinking, not the species) lifeforms. Given what we know of Albrecht Entrati’s first voyage into the void, “The Man in the Wall” seems to have been born of the Void’s reflection of his character at the time. He was a cold, calculating individual who cared very little about anyone or anything, save for his research. This lack of empathy (something Albrecht would not develop till much later) is what the void gave life to, hence the name “The Great Indifference.”
