We will need to go fight Bill gates and Steve jobs to stop them from controlling the infested to fight each other
Albrecht is backing Steve Jobs by creating the Entrati Eye-pods used by the infested
We fail and they end up becoming fass and vome
imagine if War's incarnon form was just summoning a complete Hunhow
I'm thinking "The Lotus Eaters" is most likely connected to either Narmer (Veils) or maybe Void Angels.
Depending on how Void Angels happen/work, which I'm not sure if we know much about
I think Broken war should get one instead. Cannonically its what happens after war was broken and also people use it even less than war. It needs some love
I do wanna see the Natah family reunited somehow, as much as they can be
it's Praghasa dead dead, or just hibernating?
I'm pretty sure Praghasa is dead
Buuuut... we might see Lotus and Hunhow interacting?
huh. I wasn't sure, cuz Sentients are weird like that
I wonder if she can be revived. did Erra flat out die before he became Pazuul?
Dead dead. Erra calls her as such. Erra may be alive in someway, but badly mutilated
He did some kind of sacrifice but was badly hurt. On top of that, he fused with the ram
wait, but what if her arcane oro is around somewhere?
Oro is made by living things...
Assuming she somehow had any, if it was anywhere, it would be back in tau
I thought sentients had their own synthetic "arcane" oro?
Do we know what an Oro even is, outside of a philosophical concept of a "singular identity" or something?
I don't think it's been expanded upon much in recent years
Seems I'm projecting my opinions a bit. Let me reverse my statement and say what the official wiki says
"Currently, not much is known about Oro, only that it is a property intrinsic to all Tenno, and it is also stated by Teshin that there are enemies who possess the same power."
It was not necessary to explore queasy debates about the Oro; animal minds simply lacked the full distinction of a singular persona. My Kalymos, I was sure, was an exception, but I would not sacrifice that loyal being.
-- Albrecht Entrati, Fragments, "The Cavia"
Oro is the ability to revive yourself, a form of immortality. The orokin did so through continuity. We the Tenno do so by pressing x on each other

What is the in-game or word-of-author statement behind this?
There isn't really
The only two things we know of Oro is Teshin's initial statement and now Albrecht's addition
Oro is the ability to revive yourself, a form of immortality. The orokin did so through continuity. We the Tenno do so by pressing x on each other
This cannot be correct, because Oro isnt an ability it is some thing
"Oro is the binding force for an enemy who, like the Tenno, can survive death. To kill such an enemy is futile, unless you sever this bond; absorb the Oro to annihilate it and claim a true victory."
It is the energy by which both processes are able to be achieved
It is so important that the Orokin named themselves after it as a suprior form of energy/possible life force
It is so important that the Orokin named themselves after it as a suprior form of energy/possible life force
This is uh, headcannon at best
Except it really isn't, because the Cavia can be argued to have it
The Cavia having Oro doesnt negate its importance
Rather, its yet another example of auto-revival
Ooh, unspecified enemy?
Might be talking about the Orokin
albrecht's statements would indicate its a property/matter of consciousness, since its contingent on that "full distinction of a singular persona"
nah iirc it was Sentient Prep
because yknow, killing the fragment doesnt kill the sentient
much like how killing the warframe doesnt kill the tenno
Not really? The Cavia haven't shown any ability to revive, they were going to properly die until Loid intervened
Yeah, ill admit is a Casual observation
Steve Sinclair described the Oro as something "which represents the resurrection ability of Tenno and other enemies that Teshin is most concerned with"
So, if the cavia have it
its likely to be involved in resurection
whats the source for this?
The orokin The Zariman's Reliquary Drive is located in a zone named "Oro Works", possibly indicating a link to Reliquaries or the Void. Albrecht Entrati's grimoire notes that Oro is a manifestation of a complex consciousness, and thus animals do not have Oro
I'm still looking for the part of the lore with "arcane oro"
thats because it dont exist
Warframe Devstream 52
theres 3 places oro is mentioned, teshin, albrecht's Cavia notes, and the Oro Works
ugh, I'm not gonna hear it until I find the source. I know I've heard it before
One way we could look at as the hypothetical energy manifested by superior force of will
sure, let me know when you conceptually embody it
oh shut up
I would argue that the queasy debates as well as naming the drive area as the "oro works" would make it less of a "revive power" (which would retcon steve's ancient statements) and more of a "mind thing"
that said, oro importance isnt actually hyped up, a top scientist goes bleh at it, and the Orokin have more ties to oro as gold than oro as spooky force
It is the mcguffin energy that makes the world of warframe possible/interesting. I dont think it would be too far of a stretch to say it also involves Transference. Perhaps it has to do with void exposure?
It certainly doesn't relate to transference
I dont think it would be too far of a stretch to say it also involves Transference.
Given how little we have on oro it would be a far stretch no matter what anyone does
Well, it specifies it as being a power the tenno have
this means most others dont have it. Since the orokin could achieve transference, and there were many of them that could do so, I think thats a more logical reasoning why it doesnt have to do with transference
So more likely, it has to deal with void born abilities
Why else would it be an area unique to the reliquary drive?
Teshin describes it as like the Tenno, but in a way that implies it might not be what keeps a Tenno alive
Except Albrecht will fully claim Kalymos would have Oro. Plus, the Orokin didn't go into the void at all
No, he doesn't claim it
I think its simply a man saying "My cat is too smart to be merely a dumb animal"
DE does have some whimsy
He claims that Kalymos possesses "a singular persona"
The Oro is something at least somewhat separate from that
So more likely, it has to deal with void born abilities
But teshin's conclave was preparing to deal with enemies from beyond the Outer Terminus, which would indicate he was talking about the Sentients, so like isolating it to being "void born abilities" dont seem to make sense in this context
Yes, literally what he describes Oro as
not really
he says theres no need to talk about oro because of a property the cavia didnt have
Or rather, as relating
mmmm, which goes even more into the idea that oro isnt isolated to "void born abilities"
ok, I found where I heard about "arcane oro" from. it was in a StallorD video about the Sentients, but I can't find a hard source in the game's lore that explicitly mentions it. but it seens like StallorD's implying that it's tied into Chroma's quest
oh man
that means that stallorD made that up
The New Strange had no references to oro
He's using it as a synonym when the synonimity is unproven
What a surprisingly unsurprising surprise
welp, I'm not gonna say he didn't make an assumption) wrote headcanon
ok I will say it, he made an assumption and wrote headcanon
but until I can find out if he has an actual source for that, it solves that lil mystery for now
because he definitely did not have an actual source for that
cute. anyway
considering he's a warframe loretuber chances are he made it up
I'm scratching my head, but I guess I can't think of any way for Praghasa to come back
yeah, I'll assume for now that he took a liberty there
but, the wiki description does say that certain enemies have oro, so I won't dismiss it 100%
maybe like, 95% for now
You can probably look at her still functioning body as though it was lobotomized. If it wasnt, im sure Ballas made sure to do so once he claimed her as his seat of power
...sheesh, when they told you not to use wiki in school, they really meant it
Vor probably has Oro thanks to his Janus key
yea, erra says mom is gone, but the design teams idea for praghasa was that she consumes ships and whatnot to repair her body
I mean, that's true, he does keep reviving
He's early enough in the concept of warframe that he was probably who Teshin was refering to when that dialogue was written
no? Vor is very much not from beyond the outer terminus
Oh god. neither are we. Teshin didnt explicitly say Oro can only come from the outer terminus
Horrors from beyond the Outer Terminus are coming. You must prepare. You must accept The Conclave.
Through trial combat, I will prepare you for the evils beyond the Outer Terminus.
Out there exist an enemy that can be struck down, incapacitated, dismantled and yet they rise to fight again.
the use of the wiki for lore purposes is dialogue transcripts and character quotes which are usually hidden as a button or link in a character's or event's page
but you know what is from beyond the outer terminus? š
Teshin's whole conclave shtick was to prepare for enemies beyond the outer terminus, this would mean that his whole "theres goobers out there" would refer to those enemies
and the only goobers from beyond the outer terminus are the Sentients
you know what, yeah. I should stick strictly to the quotes themselves, instead of the interpretations of the article authors
Derpy, Vor was around before the concept of what was beyond the terminus. Warframe is a procedurally written game . You cannot say 1999 was planned all along. The sentients were likely were made up along the way to fit the dialogue. any decent writer can make things obscure enough for aditional writing to be added on later
yeah the main pages aren't too usefull but as far as i have seen the transcripts haven't been modified by opinions
You know whats also beyond the outer terminus? the void
So anything from the void could be what he meant
hold on, hold on. I'm not even getting into 1999. now, let's take it like this: by the time the conclave was established, did DE already have the idea of the Sentients vaguely planned out?
I mean, the void is also not beyond the outer terminus, since its also accessible inside the origin system
Pardon me. I was using exageration to make a point as to the extent of planning the game ahead of time
given excal primes codex? yea
oh. woops. went over my head I guess, but uhh, anyway
I hate you for making me look up anything about that frame
When was the codex entry made and has it ever been changed?
did Mag Prime/Mirage also come out before Conclave was added?
like the first two words in the codex are "The Sentients"
wait
see this question Bau
never changed, but Im looking into when the codex entry was added into the game
nvm, cuz Excal Prime's entry
I'm remembering now, but for the longest time before they released, I wondered what the Sentients were
well, I can say with 100000% certainty the codex entry was in the game before the conclave
Anyway, I'd like to banish Excal prime back into obscurity if you all dont mind. the point was proven
Alright. so the reference of "The sentients" is there
We do not know if this was a placeholder name but lets assume it wasnt
The sentients were also exposed to the void. Thats how they became barren
The possibility of Void exposure being a condition behind Oro is not off the table
I would say it is with Albrecht saying Kalymos would be capable of having it
I mean, this wouldnt apply to the sentients that Mag prime fought over at the blue star
since the blue star was then implied to be tau
I cant keep looking things up durring my lecture. Ill be back later if this is going to be a gambit of looking up info
update 14 sees the introduction of the mirage quest where lotus describes the sentient "worm ships"
then in update 15 we get stolen dreams with the first mention of the arcane machine that seems to first wake hunhow
update 16 has the continuation of the arcane machine thing in the new strange and introduces teshin and the new conclave
update 17 has natah and the first sentient unit being the drones scouting uranus
gambit?
you know how long I've been waiting for this? whoo Im aboutta make a name for myself
dont worry, ill be back for you. I just simply have to put preparing and completing my philosphy final first before videogames. No need to irresponsibly theorize warframe
Ah mans definitely not watched DP & W yet
Full Mag Prime Codex
Warframe Archive - Debrief excerpt
We sat strapped in, safeties off, waiting for the punch. Waiting for death. Through my filthy porthole I saw stars among the outlines of the other Splinter ships queuing for the Solar Rail. It would soon grip us with an incomprehensible power and cast us through the void** into the mouth of our enemy.**I watched the ships one-by-one bending and gone. Each crammed with zero-tech soldiers sucking stale air, white knuckling their percussion rifles. Each filled with a desperation that comes from extinction. Our ship would be the last to cross the gap. Our ship had special cargo.
It was essentially empty. Just ten men, like me, strapped in with the best zero-tech suits and weapons the empire could build... and "it". "It" stood in the aisle, a slender and eyeless metal form. A Tenno inside its Warframe. Vaguely human, vaguely feminine. Was this armor or some ornate carapace for the monster that lived inside? I strained against the harness as the ship yawed for final approach. I could see the Tenno standing there freely. Solemn and gold-gleaming, oblivious to the inertial force.
I had been, until then, a Tenno denier. They were ghosts, propaganda, twisted casualties of the void era. Not possibly real. Yet here it was in the flesh. The Empire, in their desperation, was going to turn the demons loose and hope for the best. Who did we fear more, the enemy or this monster? We had our safeties off, could we trust it? Then it didn't matter anymore. The punch came - and our windows became blinding. When we could see again our ship was somewhere else, shattered and dead in an instant.
My lungs were flattened, eyes full of death. Ship debris glittered like a night snow. The alien blue star was dark and blinding beyond us. The countless articulating worm-ships of our enemy, ringed in glowing discs, undulating and heat-bursting the surviving soldiers like me. This is where I died. I was in R-disc, sweeping over my right and setting my blood on fire. My vision flattened, the hearing muffled and buzzed. I could feel the side of my face going slack and wet.
I was in a dying dream. I saw a bright spot blurring and weaving toward me. I felt a tug toward it from the metal clasps on my suit. It reached me, rising up - a gleaming beast, a plume of golden wings rising and unfolding behind it. An angel. It snatched me from my death. I could feel my lungs fill as it wrapped me in its wings. Its Void Shield shimmered blue, strained under the enemy beams. I felt a suddenly tug of acceleration. I closed my eyes and held on it like a child.
I awoke on the floor, the sting of crisping flesh on my face and side. It was standing over me, the wings gone. I heard the cracking of weapons echoing down the corridor. Maybe the mission would be saved, but I was dying and so I waved my hand to send it away. I felt a pistol thrust in my hand as I was heaved to my feet. The angel had saved me, pulled me from hell, but it would not pity me. I was to die on my feet, by its side. I turned my good side toward the gunfire and raised the gun. It nodded, its outstretched metal hand surging and pulsing in ancient shapes as blue shimmered around me. It turned, drawing its blade and together we surged headlong into the hailstorm of death and fire that awaited us.
assuming that the blue star is refering to Tau (since the theatre was described as the "mouth of [the] enemy") it wouldnt seem accurate to ascribe the Sentient ability (through "oro") to avoid death to void exposure, since the home ground sentients wouldnt have exposed themselves to the void at home
Okay, why does this bit make me think of Orowyrms:
My lungs were flattened, eyes full of death. Ship debris glittered like a night snow. The alien blue star was dark and blinding beyond us. The countless articulating worm-ships of our enemy, ringed in glowing discs, undulating and heat-bursting the surviving soldiers like me. This is where I died. I was in R-disc, sweeping over my right and setting my blood on fire. My vision flattened, the hearing muffled and buzzed. I could feel the side of my face going slack and wet.
oh the worm ships? nah I dont think those are orowyrms
I mean, I can see why you'd say they aren't, but the description is really reminiscent to me...
yea I get that, Im looking up what images we have of sentient ships rn
Coda is also a musical term that (simplification) means "the final segment of a song"
Idk something something Backstreet Boils something something
consider what this looks like
Are the dark ribs supposed to be the glowing discs?
I mean they are glowing
Also they do have fighters we just haven't seen then since scarlet Spear.
poor forgotten kahl
Oh yeah also there.
smh when PURE sentient RJ
gotta wait for pazuul's trip to wear off so he can do something
GrayArchon is currently streaming his first look through the Art of Warframe book
Twist: Sentient Railjack nodes are actually about helping allied Sentients fight off Narmer
in it the book says that a thing about Warframe is that design concepts are not always thrown away, but are sometimes shelved
perhaps, the description here went into making the orowyrm
That would make sense
Unfortunately, we can't recruit Sentient crew members until they figure out the whole "Void exposure" thing
amalgam crew maybe?
since the amalgams were touted to be without "the weakness of neither"
its also aladv and he said he had the infestation under control back when he made the mutalyst
The most impressive Amalgam is Drifter
nah wolf ftw
There was a veso/veko/veno thing I found on a subreddit I'm in
Warframe sleeper agents confirmed
When I reach standing 4, how do I use heavy weapons?
V s a u c e
to use archguns outside of archwing missions you need a gravimag attachment, you should get one free during the first run of the profit taker bounties as its needed to actually fight PT along with additional parts for them as bounty rewards
once thats done equip a gravimag attached archgun to the heavy weapon slot and the deployer item to your gear wheel
Something I find positively amusing is how thereās an unofficial inside joke among Warframe players that On-Lyne was a real phenomenon
This. I'd like to see this.
apart from Ballas, Nihil, Tuvul, Avantus and Karishh, do we know the other 2 Executors?
also it's ironic that not just one, but two executors were eaten by warframes
I know Tuvul was, whoās the other?
Karishh, he got eaten by Grendel
Nice
he's the one who got extra stomachs grafted onto his body just so he could be competitively obese
Lmao
False, we see them every 3 weeks in Break Narmer on the Murex
what's the tagfer quote "IMO something something"
"IMO solo's a no-go. Have at it, but I'm tellin' ya: Albrecht wasn't messin' around with his security. Bring friends."
yeah
Only for those who finished jade shadows quest:
||What name did u guys choose for stalkerās kid? Just curious.||
||1ļøā£: Sirius||
||2ļøā£: Orion||
I have no idea
Also am i the only one who solos netracells? Wouldnāt be surprised if not lol
i have question. why warframe on android version can`t be release better than ios?
Whatās it like?
I'm probably gonna pick 1ļøā£ when I get around to it
I shouldāve covered my entire message⦠
It's fine
I probably forget about it since my brain is on fixing frames/gun builds atm
Itās not officially out thatās why
I haven't been translating for the past few days. That means I get to tackle a bunch of mall screenshot I took once I get home
u mean the language used in 1999?
Yeah, I wanna learn it
It's somewhat easier than pure orokin or tenno
Vowels go over big consonants, making it read both top to bottom and left to right. It's interesting
My first translations are up here
It'll be nice to have a translator along when one of my friends inevitably says "I wonder what that says...."
IIRC, we don't have 100% confirmation on Nihil
oh? I thought Nora implied it in her quote?
You can also use Archguns on a Necramech in:
- Open worlds
- Conjunction Survival
- Albrecht's Laboratories
I think you can also deploy Necramecha in Railjack survival, right?
or in certain parts of Railjack missions, unless I'm wrong
I count Railjack as Archwing
But yeah, you can use Archguns in Railjack
And Necramechs
Once you unlock the right Railjack Intrinsic, you can use Necramechs in any Railjack mission
You shouldnāt Archwing is the smallest part of it
^
Archwing is a part of it, but a small part
And arguably the weakest part of it, itās a disservice to railjack to label it as archwing
Certain missions you can do without ever using one
Yup
little duck implies the existence of the medium duck
And medium duck implies the existence of Big Duck
when I say so
: C
Thereās always a bigger duck
And the implication of little duck implies tiny duck
And the implied implication of tiny duck implies a mini duck
which brings is to micro duck
Are ducks even around in Warframe? It seems like it's been eons and no animals we know of in the modern day truly exist
Dogs are Kubrows, cats are Kavats, horses are Kaithes etc but they're all biologically distinct, and the Archons are based on animals that existed prior to the Orokin like the Snake, Ram and the two others i always forget
Whatever Amar and Boreal are
Wolf and owl, respectively.
Thems the ones
Ducks are known about enough that Lil Duck makes her name that
That or the word for Duck transitioned into a name eventually
Deimos Wildlife be like:
- Reproduces asexually
- In Heat
Best I can offer is fish
Not really a zombie
We also have infested lion
Condrocs and sawgaws are similar to modern birds iirc
Do you think Deimos fish always floated?
don't forget the most fearsome beast in the system
the ferocious Martian desert pancake

Do you think frames are happy with Operators looking into their minds or whatever Transference does
i imagine it depends on the frame
Jade definitely didnāt like it
maybe i missed something in the "jades promise" text but i dont think so. jade helped her operator calm their nerves as they went into battle iirc
No, Itās intrusive
But if the tenno helps them then Iām sure that helps
Umbra
What in the void is that
Yeah for most frames they didnāt resist transference because they were berserk but then calmed by the Tennoās presence. Umbra was too consumed by rage
I think thatās a Mergoo, from plains of eidolon
Operators essentially parasitically fuse their minds to the frame temporarily if it's an umbra or prime
Mergoo a bird in the plains
As long as they have control over their transference bolt yes
A bird.... That's more a reptile that grafted on wings
mergoo my beloved
Fair enough
The grineer always end up killing the animalās I try to capture
[citation needed]
Then you shall delete the very existence of the genetically rotting clones named grineer
It needs to goo away from existence.
If only a Doma didn't just come into existence right on top of them. If only
Theyāre smaller than the image makes them look, always makes me feel cool when I snipe them from midair
Oh so that's why I never see them
Anyways I was in the middle of todayās NYT connections and I got the fear of god put in me
Yeah, a coworker said "Hey Kiddo" to me about a month ago and I did a hard pause before responding
For further context, I'm in my thirties. Super odd when she said that
that ain't a bird, that's a demon with bird wings
Why is "you, but with creepy eyes" the scariest thing people can imagine knocking on their window?
You could have bears, or cops, or somebody pointing a gun at you...
I just finished strange new and I'm scared what's gonna happen to ordis?
Is he gonna leave me?
||I donāt remember him ever leaving no||
No.
||You're going to leave him for a while, though||
Why is there a random qualifier for "umbra or prime"
And where did "parasitic" come from
You can, ordis wont leave you
Donāt worry, itās not permanent
Am I goober for making my watch face cycle between the requiem Parazon mods with a sickly green hue because 1999
nah, my watch used to be star trek themed until the watch face broke, you're doing fine
I just need to find which green in the Apple Watch settings is closest to 1999 green
You did not pay attention
When On-Lyne's singer says
"It's on 11 it's 2000 degrees"
... 2011?
No, it's just a play on the term "turn it up to 11"
And the obviously Infested-themed lyrics aren't?
Too much reading in between the lines
They all are
āNow youāre invested!ā
"In(v)ested"
Yeah, we already have the whole "Yeah they're Infested" "twist", we don't need to go deeper.
yeah I like that line a lot itās so subtly unsubtle
We do though
Its the whole point of the song to us theory makers
"somethings wild in the air"
Obviously spores
"They've been hit with Infestation/Techrot" covers 90% of the lyrics here
There's also the "you can feel it in the floor" twist
Which maybe represents the flesh roots in the ground
Ngl I want to play as an infested being, itd be so interesting (not Nidus or any gen1/2 frame)
Being only half in control of what I do
Some say itās the Man in the Wallās Rap-Tap-Tap that all the Deimos infested are afraid of
That may be true... But everyone is scared of him... At least those that know the story
But... As I said in general...
āØeveryone is dumbāØ
(Listening to that song rn)
just replayed war within to hear the new voice acting and im unsure whether this change is intentional or not
after picking what to do with the kuva i get the line immediately, then wally says it with my face, and then "I won't" immediately after
Huh
while youre here, mind answering my question
So I was wondering to myself why Zeke of all characters got such a high profile VA as Nick A. and I got to thinking, I remember seeing in an interview Rebb mentioning there's a really weird/disgusting romance option in 1999
The conclusion, Drifter kisses Zeke and halfway through the kiss Zeke transforms into the Technocyte Coda form we saw in the Railjack section
Rebb and Megan have done a lot of interviews so I'm struggling to find it
Zeke out here proving that you would still love him if he was a worm
inb4 she was actually talking about Quincy, being a Londoner
Complete Jade Shadows
very next mission...
-# you cant run away from your crimes, tenno
One thing rebb mentioned that is weird is that :
"If you play your cards right, one of the six including arthur could be your new years kisses" Does that mean that it imply that there's x mission to be done that will complete the new year then you get a cinematic of it ?
Like the gameplay loop seems like each week you could do idk 7 or 14 mission (which isn't a limit of games but a requirement to get the cinematic) to get the animation of the new year kiss and could expand on the lore of the hex ?
must be wild that the lotus is :
THe operator will likely stay to deal with MITW's physically
The drifter go on dating people
Because umbra has his own mind and originals aka primes like rhino ember etc have lore where they acted on their own
Ember prime does NOT have lore that said she acted on her own
Not all Primes were the original
Yeah true
Wasn't she a commander of some sort with her head bursting in flames
No?
That is no where in the lore
Lmao
It literally is
I have read the ember prime wall of text multiple times
Clearly you havent
This is something called uncanny valley, it is human but not human enough
I'm too tired to argue about this
Nothing to argue here you are misremembering the entire ember prime codex

Yeah true that
at no point in the ember prime codex was a warframe mentioned
Why does Ember Prime Codex have nothing to do with Ember
She witnessed
Like the witness idk
Cause way before quests the only lore we had was events and codex entries
No
Bruh she didn't even witnessed that š
additionally, primes are not necessarily the originals, some warframes were built as primes from the start, others were earned their primes.
Some Warframes were Prime from the start. Others earned it. Ballas never told the whole truth.
Beyond that, the "originals" dont even have autonomy, all they really have is that the first ever iteration of that frame definitely used a real human.
Only gen 1 frames, and the exception of Umbra as a gen 2 frame have autonomy. We only know of 2 gen 1 frames, Dante and Kullervo, and specifically the ones we hear about and not the ones we pilot.
At no point was it then suggested that transference was a)temporary and b)parasitic. Key point is that even if umbra was able to reject the operator, it doesnt mean that transference is temporary
Ngl, who will prime dante/qorvex then ?
Ballas
isn't he... Well i guess
Just because dante went rogue doesnt mean ballas didnt have his blueprints to then prime
The Prime couldāve been the original
It would just be so strange to see qorvex/dante prime ngl
Like how revenant prime was done lol
It wouldnt be weird but anyway
I mean, theres so many easier ways to come up with how Dante and Qorvex get a prime and none of them need eternalistic void mumbo jumbo like revenant
Yeah i think it will be smthg like that since they're mostly close to the void
Revenant might be the only Void created frame
apparently someone on the writing team said the Unum made rev prime, but uh, it was in a casual convo in an airport with only a picture to prove that they were present
Was probably a joke if anything
Good chemists and chefs dont just randomly throw stuff together
They make and keep track of recipees in case it works or needs alterations
You can easily assume the same for warframes because of the blueprints
Ballas doesnt need the leverian dante to make a dante prime, he just needs the blueprint and then to alter it and vice versa, he could have the dante prime blueprints and alter them to make the normal variant
Albrecht got bored at some point and made a qorvex prime
Albrecht realised Qorvex wasnāt to Orokin standards and made a gold one
I have a maybe-dumb question:
Did ballas make more than one of the same warframe? Like did he have multiple people infused with the helmith strain and made multiple excaliburs. Like a ābatchā
Or was there only ever just the one version of each of the frames?
A batch
Yes thats correct altho its temporary as your not gonna transference in and be stuck in it forever, it technically is parasitic good or not, both benefit from it
Its not the more common parasitic as ticks or larvae
More like, hmmm appearantly my ancestors loved slapping gold on robots, as an honor of respect ill try to ducttape found gold from the laboratories onto my frame which is encased in concrete, lets hope i dont get radiation poisoning
As stated in the trailer "the indifference mocked ballas and his primes so it delivered one of its own, a revenant" i cant remember it line for line but it was smt like this
Basically mitw was jealous of ballas creations so it copied him and made revenant
Would be funny if dante made himself prime because he found out gold makes him more conductive to electricity ie information
ā¦.
...no
Where did the rev prime trailer reference the indifference
Albrecht is an orokin that lived during the times of the orokin empire. The orokin are not his ancestors and he has the same love for gold
Don't think it does anywhere, isn't it just ballas throwing a tantrum because rev prime dared to exist?
yep
More like being baffled
Doesn't he call him a "fatherless abberation"
Ballas tried to do a parvos-level roast but it doesn't work as well when the thing he's roasting can't cry
Ballas:
āWhat fatherless aberration is this?
Brings the wicked gift of an unknown mask the Naberus night?ā
āSeething with the void mocking me and causality alike. And what strange cruelty named him, to know and defy his death? This shadow of Iāll omen. This grim harbinger. This..Revenant!
I can imagine ballas sending frames at revenant prime to capture him but he survives death 15x in a row
Does anyone know what Node I need to complete, it says Sedna is incompleted
I passed the other nodes on the rest of the planets minus this one
if you talk to The Arbiters do they tell you?
Go to Arbiters they will tell you Sedna seems to be complete
Itās the big brain move
To the arbiters of hex I go
nodders
@rain otter They don't seem to tell me anything its just offerings or were you guys referring to someone else?
their are 2 different vendors
in abiters
one if the syncidate one and one is the abitrations one.
to the left right after you enter their place.
Sounds good
Selecting the arbitrations tab in the star chart also tells you where those nodes are iirc
Those are Albrecht's Lab nodes, in the Sanctum Anatomica
If you haven't done Whispers in the Walls then those nodes will be hidden to you
If you have a lich there I think you may need to defeat it to clear the planet ⦠thatās the only thing I can think of keeping you from completing it
Nah, that's not needed. It's just that the lich icon overrides the "completed/completed(in sp)" icons
Ah I see
š«”
You may also have to do Duviri's 3 gamemodes as well
Just finished the new war. Took up my whole afternoon
Opinions on it pls
what did u think of kahl, what was ur favorite part, what name did you choose for lotus
Well honestly, with how I will sometimes take breaks from quests with days in between before continuing the story, I feel like I was kinda getting lost on some things
Like I forgor who Ballas was
š
no... for my brothers
O7
Primes both arnt always the original and additional the rhino in the rhino prime codex and the rhino we know today arnt the same
Favorite part? Probably Kahl. Corpus i had to take a few attempts on Jackal. Teshin was annoying with the timed triggers. Railjack I haven't leveled up much so it was a slog
Drifter would've been cooler to find out but it was spoiled, otherwise I got severely agitated with the sneaking sections
I know I will die so I just watch with curious acceptance. The beast squats down, shovelling a heap of gore into its mouth. It is watching me with vague eyes
Note that current rhino does not have a mouth
I remember my brother hating the railjack portion in his own play through of the new war but loving mine
If I had leveled it up I'm sure I would've enjoyed it more because I like the concept, but every time I tried to do missions it would bug out so I don't have many upgrades
Yeah railjack lately has been extremely buggy
I tried to do a couple missions a few days ago
Even further umbras sentiences is likely a product of his transference bolt not inhibiting it
I chose Margulis because cute lady who isn't robotic nor covered cleavage. Plus when I was looking up which answer to choose, someone said Margulis because it was to give Ballas the finger and I respected the spite
I chose the lotus cause I like to think of her as the balance between natah and margulis
I've seen arguments mostly for Natah and Lotus. The former was to give her a chance to start over as herself without pressure, Lotus is more of her identity
But im switching to my Drifter so I want the waifu
I really like the drifter and duviri
I haven't played in a couple weeks because I can remember if there's much to gain in there besides the circuit
But I do like the combat
I just like running around in duviri exploring my favorite part probably has to be when you enter the cave systems and hear sounds from the zariman leaking through
Sometimes the lady you get kullervo from has rivens for sale in her shop
I think rn she has an orokin reactor and an orokin catalyst
Or it may have changed already
Still falls in the same open world trap of poor utilization of the cool map spaces designed as the other places. I only know it so well because my video watching busy activity is doing enigma puzzles
I feel like there's always the tension in warframe of having maps that would benefit from cool exploration gameplay, and having no suitable gameplay to compliment this.
It's like they gave up on stealth super early in the process but never the dream of it, basically
I played it a long time ago, but:
- I did not like Kahl's gameplay during TNW. I liked playing Kahl better in Veilbreaker.
- My favorite part was hunting Archons as Drifter.
- I chose the Lotus because I liked the reasoning she gives for it. š
I think I found the lore to the lotus eaters update š
Gratz
For reference, the reasoning she gives for each choice is basically:
- Natah: "We're going to punch the bad guys in the face!" š
- Margulis: "That sucked, let's take care of each other! ā¤ļø" š
- Lotus: "Why not both?" āļø
natah is who she was made to be, margulis is who she aspired to be, lotus is who she is
Natah: "The times ahead will need decisiveness. Power. I shall be Natah."
Lotus: "I see violence and suffering in our future. We will need compassion and strength in equal measure... I am the Lotus."
Margulis: "Narmer has divided the world, leaving a deep wound. We need healing. I am Margulis."
-- The New War
Also, I'm pretty sure the reason all three choices are possible is because all three of those are her.
She's just choosing which one to act on when we go back to the Sisyphean labor of trying to make the Origin System a better place.
margulis physically isn't her btw
There are three "voices" in her, and one of them goes by the name "Margulis"
ye ik
Changed today, has an Orokin reactor (the Warframe one) and a Riven
Ooooo Ty
Indeed, thats the same conclusion I came to here: #spoiler-chat message
Just realized something about the end of TNW
Which is?
What ?
Suspense, apparently.
Lol
Ending of TNW can be read a certain way with the Lotus/Natah/Margulis deal
My friends were pinging me like crazy or else I would have typed out my answer sooner
you wanna elaborate?
I mean, I've looked at it a whole bunch of times, this wont help me understand what you mean by "can be read a certain way"
like what way are you talking about
I'm grabbing it now
Since void angles use music to attract others to become void angles im not surprised coda virus also uses music
My reaction to choosing between Natah, Lotus, and Margulis. What did you choose?

Ok and so what is this "certain way"
Watch the first minute or few of the video
There's a quote
Something something voices something something
Honestly forget the full quote
Lotus: "I⦠I'm not sure. There are⦠voices. I am not⦠one."
Operator: "I know. But maybe you could choose one voice⦠to lead the others? It's your choice."
That
Yes
Honestly... Good quote for what I believe it to imply
Not that everyone will accept that neaning
and what do you believe it implies?
It doesn't matter... I don't even know where I was going with that
???
Watch the video
That is the only hint I'm giving people who stumble upon this channel
Good maam, we cannot understand what youre trying to get at, if you dont tell us what youre trying to get at
we all see the scene where space mom chooses a voice to lead the others, even with that we dont know what you are getting out of it
I suppose it's time then
ARISE!!!
āļø: hi I'm Raelynn and the one you were being mean to is my host, Luna.
ARISE!!!
It's that simple lol
If you don't know after that then
...
Yeah basically
Like if thats the case I can make it even simpler:
Space mom choosing a voice to lead is reminiscent of a DID system
Yes thank you

I hope Lotus Eaters accounts for the fact one might have the other skins
I kinda forgot about the lotus skins for lotus eaters
The full natah skin seems like it'll be inconvenient to have if we see lotus move around and do stuff
It obviously will no way they will invalidate the New War choice in the first quest she appears in since thenš
Our black and white side story karma thing:
dont want them to invalidate the skins but the karma thing
*alignment
forgot
does alignment even do anything? I havenāt seen it affect story or gameplay ever
only just the endings I pick
The alignment thing doesn't affect anything bar Lotus/Natah/Margulis name
what about even further than the skins and different voices, what about whole personalities
I think it will just show it as whatever skin we pick but only for us
They made it work for Kahl and Cavia they should manage to do it
the lotus skins are much more drastic though
specifically natah
maybe just full natah
Apparently thereās a couple of dialogue instances like what MiTW first says to you
huh
Yeah itās like āYou owe meā or āwe had a dealā or ādid you forgetā, all essentially the same thing but different depending on your alignment during War Within
From the looks of things thereās three very different Lotus skins/animations requiredā
Natah
Eidolon Lotus
And then all the rest can probably have the same animation set
Tbh besides the Lotus choice does anything else we did matter? The queen is implied to die/disappear anyway and drinking Kuva by itself doesn't do anything as far as I am aware
Since you need a second body for Kuva to do Kuva things
Well Teshin calls his pet whatever you name it
Oh true I forgot
Basically only name choices really matter
Thereās a scene in the New War flashbacks where you have to tell this kid to keep calm, apparently if youāre Sun, you do it quite aggressively opposed to the other two
Not really. DE has said before that they don't want to lock players out of content, so most choices only change voice lines.
And then, only in minor ways.
So if we see more of Stalkers kid it will probably be the same
Yeah I regret choosing Sirius in hindsight
I only chose it because it was the Jade option and I assumed it was āgoodā
Why
Orion sounded cooler to me
We just need to get sent into the void for another time skip so Stalker Jr. can grow up enough to do anything

I have a special fondness for the star named Sirius. So of course that's what I chose.
If I ever have a son, that name is going on The List.
The Margulis/Lotus/Natah decision is probably the only decision that will ever matter and so far it hasnāt really done anything
Rising future family drama confirmed?
But thatās also just due to the lack of spotlight on Lotus
It changes her voice. But her appearance can be changed.
Very unlikely. First because my spouse loves the name, too. Second because I'm a little too old for children.
I guess the 1999 stuff might matter too, particularly the romance thing
From what Iāve heard youāre probably going to have to lock yourself to one option
Doubt it will effect the story much outside of content specifically set in 1999 and gameplay at all tbh
Though
Getting your partner as an on-call "spector" would be pretty nice
We might be able to play through other options when the quest is replayable.
Hope the gemini skins arent locked by romance or an actual cost
Id even be fine with it being a Rank 5 syndicate item
I just wish there was a way to change which name is used later on
Sometimes I don't want margulis. Sometimes I just want the lotus
Be too worried about having to revive them when they go down... cause you know otherwise... "you'll never hear the end of it..."
"There I was, down, bleeding out... grasping my last breathe... dying.... and what were you doing?" Playing dance off with the Jade Eximus units!" ::: -50 romance affinity ::::
Would be nice if the name was tied to which skin you use for her
If your partner can't understand that riven slivers take priority over them are they even really your partner /s
It only matters if the mission is about to end. Otherwise you can grab the slivers afterwards
Relationships are built on compromise, after all! š
"you understand, right honey? I need to be able to afford my weekly Hobo Rivens, or else what's even the point?"
Ascension drops about 8-10 rivens if you explore well..
Start equipping amalgum shotgun barrage
On that note, I still need to go and grind some Thermia fractures so I can get Amalgam Organ Shatter. It's so tedious that I just always find something waaaay more fun to do instead.
It's such a tease cuz right now I'm sitting at 42/50.
You can put like what is it 3? In at a time.
It's not that. I just hate how tedious the event is that I can never bring myself to just do it - I would rather farm archwing affinity the hard way.
When is the nyx and Trinity rework?
I don't remember. Second update this year?
I picked up volt and learned to play him but Im holding off on learning trinity- oh, so we'll find out at the tokyo gameshow then
It's needed for 1999, so probably in that.
I thought they said the light reworks would be before that
Pretty sure the light reworks are the actual reworks
Time for nyx's multiple cc abilities to be less cc and more kill
They really need to fix her psychic bolts
It could come earlier. Even with the first of the three updates happening before the dev stream, they have a lot to cover, so we may not get a lot of news before hand.
the ability targets multiple enemies but only lsts 5 seconds? What are you going to do with that?
Nyx isnāt that bad tbh
Oh ill agree, other than that one ability
I use her 2 more than her 3
Her 4 is not great unless you have the augment
Iām never playing her without the augment
lots of meaningless news, in august when sevagoth prime?
Assimilate is too good
Please donāt nerf her
My guess is theyll give her some stealth given how her dosier says she has subterfuge as one of her specialties
Psychic invisibility might be cool
Thatās what her 3 does
Add Wrathful advance for mobility
She tricks the enemies into attacking eachother, making her āinvisibleā to them while seeing their allies as enemies
If I had a spare kullervo I would
*less visible
I like the trade off of mobility for being an immortal god
now is the time to farm him up then. What else do we have to do?
Eh, I donāt really care to
I donāt play Duviri fast enough
I go in and I will be there for hours
Iāll get it eventually though and slap wrathful advance on my nyx build
But sheās good as is rn, again I like the trade off of low mobility
Plus the orthos prime helps, doubles as a mobility tool and as a great weapon
And recasting her 4 isnāt a huge issue for me, mildly annoying sure but itās whatever
Yes wrathful advance would be a boon for the build but I like what I got, its fun
The low mobility also makes her feel more like a tank
That's better for kullervo farming, the materials take a while to get
Yeah but the only thing better than becoming the immortal pursuer enemy ala resident evil's nemesis (heh, nyx skin) and Mr. X is to be the Immortal pursuer enemy that teleports
I mean yeah, but I gotta be in a mood for those long duviri runs
Again, it would absolutely be a boon
But its still fun as is and also muck farming up knife boy
I maxed out my decrees twice while farming him
Full power fleet-footed is silly
I maxed my decrees in like the first month or two when Duviri launched
Kullervo is great though
Best melee frame
More decrees have been added since then
Wait
My brain thought intrinsics were decrees
Nvm
I have not maxed decrees lol
I get too distracted
It's possible to jump the gaps between some islands at full fleet-footed speed
I did it by accident once
Lmaoo
Imagine being a regular duviri citizen and you just see hear(?) the local homeless hero sprint across and jump between islands at like mach 10
They would probably think they are hearing things
from how they already act it would probably be like "honey, the king drifter is parkouring across our roof again"
And then suddenly some guy with fancy swords appears halfway through a wall
Can Thrax be killed or would he reset
Sadly i do not think this would be in favour of lodun
The quest implies the throne is the thing that has the power to reset since our drifter does it but in the trailer he does it without it soooo
We arenāt homeless
We have the biggest house in Duviri, you can see it from practically anywhere
No idea
Ours is in the sky and nobody questions it
The throne is likely more symbolic of control, whomever controls the throne controls Duviri but you donāt need to be on the throne at all times to control Duviri
As we see with the Drifter when their emotions affect the mood after Teshinās temporary death
Yup
Ohh that makes more sense
The king controls the resets, whether or not that position is defined by the throne or the person
The duvirians probably think we live in teshin's cave
what about before we encountered teshin though
So I can kill Thrax in peace and take the throne to fill the position in theory
if anything we could have done that
but nuh uh we like being homeless
Yes, but the Drifter doesnāt want that because they just want out
If you were stuck in a death loop for at least a thousand years (its def more) to the point you become so apathetic you barely feel anything at all then have the oppurnity to rule over your hellish prison that holds so much pain would you control it?
No
How to troll Thrax :
- Get Parallax from the void side of the Zariman
- Stuff it full of 3 star spector's
- Ram into his stupid castle
- Unleash the horde
also little digression, the dais domestik drone giving implications that duviri has roombas too is very silly
domestik drones are the ultimate technology; the technological equivalent of carcinisation
The dropship doesn't hold that stuff
You can see an open one in the Zariman hub spawn room
You could fit like 6 passengers albeit they wouldn't have seats
The ones in the Zariman don't have the Warframe special spinning door I think and only open from the side
Fleetfooted and temporal acceleration are my literal favourite decrees to exist. I can cross undercroft islands in ms
By the way is there an infinite duviri mode or do you have to extract after orowyrm?
duviri experience is infinite. you don't leave till you go through castle portal
Thanks
The decrees are finite though
idk i have a serious feeling that lotus will be in serious danger again
you know.."lotus eaters"dont seems a cozy name for a mission...
My bet is Wally will trap Lotus in some kind of loop, and we'll need to complete 1999 to save her.
I already got Space PTSD not again
That would actually be a phenomenal twist.
Fr
What if 1999 is Tau
š¤Æ
Why does On-Lyne X Backstreet Boys sound so right
1999 really is shaping up to be the Warframe of all time update for me. I grew up through the 90s, love the music in the update, have a crush on Arthur, get cold sweats whenever I hear the "KIM" and dial up noises - plus the story just looks like it's taking us to a wonderful new playground.
There are few puns in the song that refer to being in sync, and the boys are back - it's very much intentional that they remind us of those boybands.
Yes
And the in sync part is also straight up hivemind
But did you listen to the Backstreet Boys On-Lyne mashup
Yes. The whole song is a series of double meaning puns and innuendo about the infestation.
Fr
Yes. I've heard a couple mashups and remixes already.
But my thought is, why mess with a perfect homage/parody?
š
One thing I was thinking about the infestation and 1999
So we can see Arthur having a really big headache before seeing the mimic mouth birther
Could this imply a new mechanic against the infested ? Like currently infested doesn't have much interaction with the Warframe gameplay wise but this could actually make sense that there would be a war within the Warframe, one where we confront the hivemind trying to reclaim our Warframe as theirs ?
According to Rebb in an interview that's when we as the Drifter appear in the story and take over, and meet the syndicate. That's not a copy of Excalibur - that's the player stand in Warframe - which just happens to be Excalibur in all the dev demos.
It wouldn't be far fetched to think that if infested actually grow stronger by eating each other... The Warframe would be a tasty treat for them
Deimos is unclear about if the infested really eat each other
What I think is that we find a way to use the Helminth + strange void time spacey shenanigans and use transference into a Warframe built in the past, waiting for us.
This is the creepiest thing they could ever said but okay I guess
Maybe we have to think of it like infested tentacle that remove you from the vault
Must be weird but if drifter actually go there physically it means there's an entire passage in the void
Like a long tube of infested flesh that is linked maybe ?
The flesh train ššš
So it's like, Arthur feels a surge of transference energy, Helminth 2.0 appears and makes a Warframe with information from the future, and we cross time into the new frame waiting for us - probably right as Arthur is about to kill it.
That's speculation - but using context that Rebb confirmed - namely that being the point when we stop playing as Arthur and the Drifter shows up.
Lotus eater really seemed to indicate that they will explain a new system for travelling to strand of khra.
It will be a very wild ride lol
Also did they talk about playing as drifter in 1999 or it's only hex member ?
There's also the unannounced 2024 update after that and before 1999, that will be announced in Tokyo, soon.
I feel like the unannounced is either focused on infestation or the 3rd orb fight ngl
Or maybe opening doors for more grineer content
In an interview Rebb said that we only play as Arthur during that intro mission shown in the demo. After that we play 1999 as Drifter and that's how we start the next quest, the romance system, syndicate farming, etc.
Ohh so no indication if in game we could play drifter in 1999
I just said so.
Would be funny to see him finally with a tigris
1999 Quest:
Mission 1: Arthur.
Mission 2-?: Drifter
Then after that for syndicate farming it seems like we can freely go back and forth like we do with Duviri.
Does that mean we will see the drifter riding a horse to 1999 šššš
No we will ride an Atomicycle
Oh...
And the colours are customizable.
Maybe one thing that will be done for drifter is a better movement system for him + all of his abilities from the new war repurposed to fit 1999 if they work on him in 1999
Like he could have more of a "jack of all trades" but with severe disadvantage
Atomicycles will be peak
We're most likely just gonna play as a warframe
Yeah I feel like the romance system is only for drifter
It is
Omg they do say āMillenia/centuries/???? later, *in the origin systemā, almost like itās a different location
They explicitly say it's the origin system
They do that because de teases the player base about never revealing when stuff takes place
I know itās just a joke
Imagine if I was right though Iād basically be a prophet
The joke they did was:
Centuries later (backspace)
Millennia later (backspace)
?????? Later
The implication is not just that they won't tell us when it takes place, but could even be tens of thousands to a hundred+ thousand years in the future - or more.
Exactly
What if Tau is so far from the Origin system that Tau is in in their 1900ās during present day origin system , and the Sentients only guard Space around the planets so that the people on Tauās planets arenāt disturbed, but the sentients donāt realize big Al messed up that planet on Tau because he brought infestation with him on accident. And the deal he made with Wally was to infect planets in Tau he goes to. And what if Wally can see the future and knew heād end up in Tau?
Or maybe Big Al brought spores with him and they infected whatever and ended up spreading
Lets clear up some misconceptions here:
- Tau is a place in the physical real plane, its not some place in the void. If you had a road from origin to Tau, you could walk there
- Tau isnt "so far from the Origin system". The game hints Tau to be Tau ceti, an actual star system, one of the closer ones to us IRL
Youād end up exhausted and itād take a few years
But flying there in an orbiter? No problem at all
Untrue.
Their is a solar rail to there.
One in tau and one in the origin system.
The origin system side is destroyed.
Fair
It was destroyed by hunhow in the old war.
Ohhh⦠I remember that now
Isnāt it that weird relay that we always see?
The blown up one
No
Oh different thing
Mb
But if the other solar rail is opened, THEN itās no problem
I can imagine the solar rail being open for brief amounts of time to let in more sentients to Lua as we kill them
Itād be ironic if thatās how they did it
Tau centi is 11.9 light years away
Giving orokin incredibly generous .01c real space travel it'd take 1200 years to reach it
Pretty sure the orbiter or Railjack can get there pretty fast
Oh, then Fudge
Neither orbiter or rail jack move at nls speeds
The finger drive is not equipped to cover space like that
Thatās trueā¦
The zariman crashed in the void doing that
Well they were rushing it werenāt they?
The zariman was designed to take a dozen or so smaller jumps
Yeah, but didnāt the orokin rush building it? That would mean there are some things wrong
They changed the plan from a dozen smaller jumps to 1 large jump
Worst idea they could have
Dozen smaller jumps may have taken a bit longer but you can also get other things from taking breaks
Maybe discover something better than Tau
But instead they rush and destroy their only chance to Tau
What if whoever tried to rush it was working with Ballas so that they couldnāt make it to Tau and make the sentients do their thing
What if Ballas had a huge crazy plan all along
And it all worked out until it didnāt
We already know why they rushed it, the Zariman crew tried to self sabotage to not go, but the Orokin didn't care, so they had to rush it to have any hope of living
Yonta didn't rush it she just got her math wrong.
Oh?
Yeah she says she could do it right if she got to try again.
Thatās fair
But for many reasons we can't do that.
And one reason I assume is the Solar Rail
Aswell as the army of sentients to send us to heaven/hell
Solar rail?
The one in Tau
The one in Tau prevents us from entering at all
Its down cus Hunhow Destroyed it.
And yeah
No. That's not how that works.
Huh
How do you think a solar rail works?
Itās like a fast travel/shield for whatever itās toward
What?
Like uh
Letās say you wanna get from point a to point B
The Solar Rail is quicker transportation
But if itās off itās more like a shield
At least thatās what it looks like when you turn it on for the planets
It's not like a shield. It just let's you use it for travel. Basically it let's ships that don't have a finger drive
Hyper space travel.
Yeah that
It needs to also have a connecting solar rail.
But I thought when itās off it keeps things from going near it at all
And that one is what you need to turn on to get into the other planet
(Or system)
Sure. But yeah we only of 2 ships that have finger drives
Its why the RJ is so feared
Cuz it is the only ship active that has q finger drive.
The Zariman also has one but that's not a active ship.
Yep. And they canāt really fix it
At least not with the time they have
The immortal robots from the Sanctum would hate us if we sent them there to fix stuff
(This is a joke)
Also are the other void children dead? The ones in the scene where the lotus Blasts the sentient dude?
We mainly need to keep it safe from the invading forces. I think the Zariman story and missions are some of the most hopeful cuz its rhe tenno rallying together to keep their home safe and it's working.
Thatās trueā¦
What about our adopted siblings in this scene, do we just never see them?
Or are they like
Dead
Tau centi is the closest inhabitantable system iirc
Fair
It's not the closest but it's one of the closest
Loid won't let me link the wikipedia page but it's the 21st closest star to us. But it's one of the more promising candidates for Earth-like planets.
Gonna go start a load of laundry and then im gonna do some Hollvania mall translations
First up
Not gonna lie... I just thought this was an advert for an electronic store before I started translating
Ack, I mispelled Holvania
I think it says "The Tower" instead of "Dull Tower" now that I look at it a bit more...
āDhā should be read as a soft āthā sound in English, such as in ātheā and āthereā, as opposed to the hard āthā in words like āteethā and ātherapyā. The 1999 script generally keeps to the pattern of using ādhā for soft āthā and the āthā character only for the rarer hard āthā. Itās why I like to translate ādhā as ādthā since thatās actually what it sounds like.
As such, the first word in this poster is ādth-uhā, which is just the word ātheā.
Aha! I caught it just in time
Yep you posted your correction as I was writing
I know. Thank you very much though. your explaination is exactly why i started posting these here
No problem! Oh, since youāve figured out the ātheā, keep it in mind for the other translations since it is a very common word and will appear in a lot of places
Here's another one
I will. Its Dhe whole point im translating: To learn about how to do it right
Aw man. I was saving the grafiti like tests
Oh hey thatās my translation
aw well. Ill post them anyway cause Ill forget the translation by the time they come up
The step on me major one was definitely written by a tenno durring tennocon
As far as graffiti goes these are the nice and clean ones tbf . There are lots of ones that are absolute messes that you can use as a test
Yeeees. i cant wait
Real
Does anyone know how to unlock the door to this room? I've looked all over the internet I haven't found anything even mentioning this room
wsit
wait this is the elevator
I'm so stupid
Pid say press the call elevator button but you've already done that. Get in and press the button for the floor you want.
Ik how it works I was just being stupid
I'm in a mission looking for voca
Lol you can ignore the post sorry about that
It would be cool if it was this week the devstream šš
Also lotus eater was discussed in the interview ? Like if there's new arcane, mods or smthg like that ?
The only thing they said about Lotus Eater was that it was a prologue quest - like the quest "Natah" or "Erra" - not full mission quests, but just something to set the scene and give some context to what comes next.
šš
I hope there's some change with it
Wally seems like the kind of kid to sit in grass and eat flowers
If he does ill conceptually embody his death by Lotus
If lotus eater is to what is about to come
Then it will be very strange lore
Like the zariman tablet on duviri
Man imagine if there's a gamemode including the corpus where you do your main mission but Golden hands (the one that tp to parvos) are exclusively spawning a ton of Specter to defeat you.
Like it's a side objectives but could help you
it will be very strange lore
my brother in Christ the entirety of Warframe is strange lore
Warframe is like if Farscape had no restraint.
Is it really a good idea to lock infested lich system post tnw ?
Probably, we already have a ton of new players that make kuva liches on accident while they're hella underleveled
Honestly more stuff should really sit behind TNW, from how easy it is to be overwhelmed by more than 10 years of updates and systems - not to mention Liches share railjack as a prerequisite with TNW, anyway.
Get loided
Players after they learn 2% of Warframe lore
True but like, in the end Infested liches are really highly locked
TNW > Whispers in the walls > Lotus eater (small quest) > 1999
Did they confirm you need them all
Idk but feels like it, since the Railjack part is after getting the coda worm it seems ?
Oh yeah I remember the interview
They have also been making it easier to get to
Megan: That's a great question. It continues off of Whispers in the Walls and then Lotus Eaters Quest, so you will have to have completely caught up with the story. But lately, and really recently this year, we've been trying to streamline that process. If you are a new player and you see this 1999 demo, and you're like, I want to play that when it comes out.
We've really tried to make it so the game would tell you exactly the path to get there instead of, you know, yes, there's 20 different quests you can do, but there's only four required ones I need to do to get there.
We're trying to make those junction changes, star chart changes to really help those players get to where they want to be, because we understand that when we put out this awesome update demo and all this, you know, marketing people want to play it. We get it and we want to get them there.
We don't want people to be confused. That's a huge thing. We experimented with Duviri being at the beginning of the game and it didn't pan out for us, so we changed gears on that. We want to make sure that they understand the story and are caught up, but we're doing our best to get them there in the quickest way possible.
Rebecca: We need to do our Tenno training tool to get people through the Tenno tool tips. We do have a campaign in our game, and some people still don't know that. Our goal would be to get the campaign awareness to a point where people just continue playing it instead of being interrupted by a lack of information.
Maybe : THe unnannounced 2024 update is likely a really big QoL in general (again yes) ?
Jade Echoes
Lotus eater echo
Jade eater echoes
Lotus shadows
Lotus eater is the lotus shadow that was told by Eleanor
Man can I just post an official interview
Our resident Construct needs some bolts screwed back in
It's interesting they moved Duviri Paradox from being unlocked after Vor's Prize to being unlocked after the Uranus-Neptune junction (essentially, after Natah)
Anyway whatever, just Google "Lauren Bergin PcGamesN Warframe Romance" and you'll see the interview I'm referring to
Needs to be moved to after the new war. It doesn't really make sense otherwise
If nothing else, it gives some chance to actually meet Teshin right? And Natah is kinda the point where DE focused in on the story
If you don't see Balas stab you, the giant sword falling out of the heavens doesn't make sense
it works for nice foreshadowing (and subsequent hype) when drifter appears though
even though duviri is basically NW foreshadowing
Honestly Duviri doesn't spoil much besides Teshin's death
By the way, what us with people shoving greatswords into our chest from behind? That's like the third time it's happened
Wrong reply kek
Can we get some back armor for Arther please?
āThereās a very big surprise in store with one of the kisses,ā Ford continues, then frowns slightly. āItās kind of disgusting, but in the best way. Get ready for a weird one.ā Color me⦠vaguely concerned (read āvaguelyā as āveryā).
nah what we have to worry about with arthur is him falling down again
primed surefooted arthur
It sounds like the Gemini skins can be customized so that probably translates to the way they look in 1999 gameplay too
We're gonna be able to use delux skins with them!
100%, immediately, on site putting Arther in Hayden's old suit
Gosh I hope we can mix-and-match so that we can have Arthur's unmasked head but with Hayden's body
You know what, Elenor and Amir are getting the same treatment!
"arthur get in the suit, we need you to darken those sectors"
"Every Sector has its Dark"
No helmets with Gemini skins already confirmed
It helps you know who the hell drifter is and stuff also it's a fun mode
Now... I'm gonna have a hard time choosing between Arthur's sword and the prototype glaive....
Duviri before NW means you kinda have the main "surprise" that you're Drifter spoiled for you, however you get the benefit of experiencing the Drifter's story divorced from any confusing New War context
It's supposed to be a paradox
i mean his proto sword is also his exalted model too
I think one thing I'd change is the Drifter and Operator customization being linked initially (like, if you do Duviri first, your Operator ends up looking like a younger version of the Drifter, and vice versa).
Keep it linked but make it as broken as it was when TNW released so you still can't tell that they're the same person
Though I guess it's important for the New War's misdirect of Drifter, making you think that it's the Operator somehow surviving
I hope Gemini skins have good customization bc I want to main amir
It's basically full frame customization except you have a human head
Including body skins?
Yes
They let you use your existing warframes as the base loadout, emote transformation you into the Gemini skin which will have all customization options except for helmets which are replaced with the protoframe's head
They probably will only have body skins that are like the base frame body
Recently discovered Eleanor is voiced by Amelia Tyler, the Narrator from Baldur's Gate 3, so its funny she's doing another role where she's a voice in your head
No forma needed to rock out with your volt out
Only recently? I immediately noticed
Deluxe skins confirmed to be usable with them by Dev Reb herself
Oh my that'll be so weird
Why
I'm not great with recognizing some VAs, but once it's pointed out to me I can't unhear them. Had no clue Fibonacci was Neil Newbon as well
Thank God my volt won't be affected
The astrion VA is Fib.
how good would heirloom mag on aoi look?
oh you just mentioned it lmao.
Ok tbf fishonacho doesn't sound similar at all
Have we heard more about romancing
Why not? If you don't like it, you don't have to use them
Yeah
That was a response to tiv
It'd make her look good enough to have a spin off where she's sent to feudal japan
heirloom mag and sentient volt are definitely going to be the most drastic looks on the respective protoframes
Certain special skins screw about with proportions
What about Zato excaliber?
ok count the chain smoker too
so chainsmoking arthur
semi-sentient amir
galaxy aoi
Put Arthur in a bathrobe, he's cold
Strigga Lettie
Proto skins on the proto frame
Heavily armored eleanor
Oh I'm putting them all in the prototype skins
Protoskin Arthur is either hayden tenno or literal jetstream sam
Why choose?
Would that be a proto skinned proto frame or a proto proto frame and if its a prime is it a proto skinned proto prime or a proto prime proto frame
Are we getting a frame in an update before Cyte-09?
I'm gonna buy the proto skin just so I can go full sam
Arther "Jetstream" Tenno
warframe rising: revengance
Yes
What
proto-excalibur umbra prime prisma
Just remembered about the excal prisma skin
We're getting the lotus the way Reb has been using her as an optional skin all these years
She might be playable in Lotus Eaters but not more than walking around (for now)
Hey, the man said yes. I don't make the rules
Rebb says she isn't Lotus just voices her but she has a different appearance each time we see her it must be a sign
What if Lotus's shadow, told by Eleanor will be a boss fight in lotus eater
So you could technically fight finally Lotus
Doubtful. Prologue quests are almost always just walking simulators with lots of lore.
Like the one where we were invisible and spied on Ballas as he rebuilt the Paracesis.
It's joever I wanted to fight lotus
Don't you dare fight Lotus I'll kick you into the sun
I want to fight the sun
What did Space Mom ever do to you š
She is a false prophet, an impostor who knows not the secrets of the Void.
She even thinks a void goober isn't real even though he literally showed up right in front of her
Unlike nef anyo the true prophit of the void
True profit more like
Only Vor knows the true power of the Void.
He's even got a friend in Void
Does the mot corrupted vor speech fit into a discord bio
You can surely try
dang it discord
We already fought the lotus though? She killed Ordis' drone
We ran away from the lotus
But a true fight against lotus, since doppelganger exist... š What if Eleanor is really talking about a boss fight š„ŗ Please DE a lotus boss fight where she is literally one of the hardest boss like worse than murmur
Having to kill Lotus would be a total gut punch after everything... Not saying I want it, but imagine if that happened...
Not fighting the true lotus but her shadow, if it's her doppelganger, which i think is?
Personally I think the reference to the triple faced goddess just means Lotus (Natah/Lotus/Margulis) and Lotus Eaters is going to set up something happening to space mom and/or Operator - and then Drifter will have to go save the day.
Rebb suggested she did voice lines for several characters, so either she meant a Wally doppelganger like we and Albrecht have - or she could just mean different performances for all three facets of her personality, like how it was for us at the end of TNW and we shifted back and forth between Operator and Drifter when we were talking to Lotus.
"Oh. OH. She's wonderful. Triple-Faced Goddess! But there's a shadow on her, isn't there?"
Yeahhh , i do hope that the shadow will be in lotus eater š
I don't think it's literal. Ellie speaks in metaphor.
I think by shadow Ellie meant that Lotus had something she was hiding - guilt and deceit being that shadow.
After all Lotus blatantly lied to us about seeing Wally.
Like you find out that the Lotus Eaters are actually a doomsday or death cult that plan on reverting Lotus > Natah to some (according to them) true self where she's like evil sentient incarnate... with plans to destroy the tenno and orokin and all biological life...
Yeah i also thought of that, i really feels like it's about guilt, since the new quest will be more spiritual (confirmed by Rebb iirc ?) it will may go deeper on the perspective of Lotus
The fact that she said that she saw MITW in ropalolyst but lie to us at the end of TNW, this incoherence may be about her having "fear" ?
